Just this last week The Air Force Surgeon General posted on the AF news paper front cover that Electronic Cigarettes are harmful. The inside story quoted the FDA's unsubstantiated claims (the full FDA analysis actually shows e-cigs to be healthier than real cigarettes but they wont admit that lol) and that long term use of nicotine cause cancer (ask any doctor, untrue)! Just a week before every military member E-Cig user were banned from everywhere but smoke pits to vape. I agree the E-Cigs should not be used in installations because it looks unprofessional however, they are now making us be subjected to second hand smoke.

I fear this is just the start, next week they may ban them completely from all bases.

“The FDA, like all federal agencies, ultimately uses its regulatory powers in political ways. Certain industries and companies are rewarded, and others are punished. No regulatory agency is immune from politics, which is why the FDA should not be trusted with power over our intimate health care decisions.”
