(I think this this is the appropriate forum?)

 I kinda have an obsession with tins and fitting things into them. I'd been kicking around a few ideas on what to carry with me should something come up with my mod. This is what I came up with:

The tin. 'Cause dragons are cool.

The innards.

What's inside:
  • 10mL of DIY chai mix, my ADV (probably will just have a 3 or 5mL one since this is backup)
  • 3mL of DIY sweet menthol mix (for those after-dinner minty vapes! :p)
  • 510 atty
  • mini Bic lighter (for torching my rda wicks if needed)
  • extra drip tip (in case someone wants to try but is sick or a germaphobe or somethin')
  • mini flat-head
  • 18350 cell (all my mods are 18350 compatible)
  • pre-made wick/coil @ 1.2ohms (debated on a not premaking one and just having wire and wick)

I did have a larger tin that had... (I went against using the larger tin only 'cause I really like this one):
  • nail clippers (for clipping the wires if I had to put in a new coil)
  • cotton swabs
  • folded up tissue (for blowing out attys/cleaning up)
But a lot of this stuff was repeated due to another tin of stuff that I carry in my bag. Even the Bic lighter here is repeated.

Some ideas I was kicking around:
  1. I realize that the pre-made coil would not fit in all of my RDAs. That one in particular was made to fit the Squid. haha Even then I normally would have built it with a loop, but this was all I had. So for the sake of just putting this together, I had that one that was lying around. I guess a "raw" piece of wire and ekowool would have been better.
  2. I'd like to have a little volt meter/panel/in-line thing... But I don't have one yet - just a larger one we use at home.
  3. I considered having a 350mAh eGo in there. It's super tiny, so it'll fit in either of the tins. But I figured that with what is currently in the tin, I could fix up whatever mod I was carrying that day. The 350's kinda cute to hand off to someone though. But then I'd have to have a clearo or somethin' and a charger handy.

Would you consider having something similar? What would you carry in it? Comments/concerns? :) Constructive stuffs appreciated.

Cheers! :toast:

Love the idea. I'd be a bit worried about that battery just being in there. You might want to either get some silicone covers or cover the contacts with something to be on the safe side.

I currently have a Snus tin that barely fits a clearo and an 18350 battery (which honestly I really don't like carrying around with me) I've been trying to find a good sized tin that I can modify the padding a vivi nova comes in to line it with, with cut-outs for my stuff.
I'm a little artistically challenged, so far I've done a botch job on it that is far more functional than it is pretty - certainly nothing I would want to share at this stage. I think the tin is simply too small for what I need.

I like the idea of a size of tin that you have though. Something that I can fit a whole spare kit in to let people try as well as use for backups.

Oh yeah. I forgot about covering the contacts. haha I kinda just threw it together and snapped a shot. :)

I had another tin that was maybe... 50% larger. It fit a good amount of stuff... But I just really liked this one with the dragon. :p haha

Aww... I hope to see photos of your little kit soon. :) I went back and forth on a couple ideas - this is kind of what I'd settled on for now, given the allotted space and and taking into consideration what I would most likely require on a more normal day-to-day basis.
