Mini bottle o-ring popped out and wont go back in..

I lent my Mini to a friend and she returned it with the oring out of the bottle cap. I keep trying to put it back but it acts like its to large. Looks like the ID is 7/32.

Any tips on getting it back in there?

just put it in and screw the bottle on to push it all the way in

If the o-ring has swollen you can soak it in alcohol or boil in water....then let dry. It should go back to its original size. You can also slide the o-ring over the top of the bottle and see if that helps. The best advice I can give you is take a deep breath and walk away from it for a few minutes.

I had this same issue once and it frustrated me to no end. I agree w/ Rhaps...walk away, take a deep breath and put it in alcohol or boil it...I used a paper clip stretched out to finally get it seated in the cap once everything settled down.
