Like his other devices, it's a mechanical switch, activated by pushing inward a little on the cart/atty.

As far as material... it's Copper. Just like the name implies.

Includes 1 510 atty and cart. No batts, no charger.
Your 16340 batt will work, same as a CR123

There is a fair amount of copper in brass I thought so there is an element of truth in the name, maybe over 60%?
