I just purchased one today without researching it and unfortunately it barely works on my battery.

The problem is my battery is 3.7 volts which is not enough volts to get a good vapour on the 1.8 Ohm coil.

The kit also comes with a 2.4 and 2.8 Ohm coil which do not work at all.

The shopkeeper failed to make me aware and the kit is going back tomorrow.

Just a heads up guys.

It sounds to me like there may not be a proper connection between the Vivi and the battery terminal. 1.8Ω on 3.7v should give a good vape. I'm using a 1.7Ω @ 3.7v right now and its working well.

Also note that those heads rarely are accurate to the actual ohm reading. I had my 1.8 read 2.9Ω. YMMV

I usually use my Vivi Nova on the Twist. I tried it with the 1.8 ohm head on my ego 650 (not a twist) just for this post, it vapes wonderfully.

Took the Nova back and the guy said he never had such a problem. Got a refund and went to my usual supplier who informed me my battery was 3.2 volts (just assumed all Ego types were 3.7 volts).

The 1.8 coil was vapering a little but I had to do a lung vape to get and taste or flavour. The 2.4 was a non starter and didn't even try the 2.8.

Strangely the new clearo I bought ( I was advised is 1.8 Ohms) works fine.

Did you get the right item? I was looking at buying from them as well, I couldn't post in this thread earlier due to post count, so posted this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/374817-viva-nova-mini-nova-heads-3.html

I was confused about the two heads they sell, and it seems others have bought ones for vision v3 clearos by mistake as well, although they seem to work. It seems neither of their heads are genuine Vision.

Mine were the pointy head ones but I would expect Totally Wickeds products to be genuine.

I have a Joye eGo (from TW) and a couple of vision vivi novas (6 atomizers, all stated as 1.8ohms). Some of the heads vape ok on my eGos (non-twist), and some are markedly lower in vapor & taste.

I have recently read on another sub-forum (the eGo board, maybe?) that many folks are testing the actual resistance of the 1.8ohm heads and getting anywhere between 2.2 and 2.8ohms. I think this is more likely the problem than your battery - the actual resistance is probably higher than 1.8.

I really enjoy making my own coil and wick for the nova, pretty easy once you get used to it.

Four wraps gives 1.6 ohm,and five wraps gives it around 2.0 ohms.

I made a new one today in fact, and it really does give a fantastic vape, maybe something for you to consider;and you will save loads of dosh to boot. Cheers, Terry. ps tons of vids on you tube to help you, dead easy though:laugh:
