Yeah, crank up your voltage with a ego twist or vision spinner OR a devise like a vamo where you can vape in watts rather than volts. I like my vamo for that reason. It's set to watts so it doesn't matter what the resistance on the tank is. I think it's the PG that gives the better throat hit and VG gives more vapor.

  • Pg - Propylene glycol. Used in asthma inhalers. Stronger carrier of flavoring agents, not much vapor production. Gives a little more throat hit than Vg. Rarely causes sensitivity or allergy symptoms.

  • Vg - Vegetable glycerin. Used as a sweetener in many food products. Used in the fog machines at concerts. Not as good a carrier of flavoring agents, but makes more vapor. Not much throat hit.

Increasing the nicotine concentration in the e-liquid will have the largest effect in increasing throat hit. Next lower resistance coils, and lastly a higher Pg ratio in the e-liquid.

Not sure why this works but it does, I watched a PBusardo video and simply remove the flavor wick and Bam bigger TH.

Works on both the ones in my rotation.

You'll just have to be careful that it doesn't start leaking after removing the flavor wick. THis does sometimes happen... :)

Another suggestion I didn't see mentioned is either:

A. Covering up one of the air holes with your finger when you take a puff

B. Plugging one of the air holes with a toothpick and breaking it off, wax, or some other substance.

The air holes are on the collar on the bottom. I just use my finger personally, no point in mucking something up that cannot be undone but if you find you always have to put your finger over an air hole, permanently plugging it is an option.

Just don't cover more than one, these need air flow to work properly and choking it will have adverser results.

p.s. I personally have never taken out flavor wicks or removed or changed around silicone.......never seems to work for me and seems to create other issues.

EDIT: some of these fixes work 40% of the time or less so they technically work but they don't really work.

I have a Vision Spinner 1300mAH, really appreciate it. Because of the mAH level, it lasts the day for me. I dropped down to 1.8 ohm coils on the PT2 Mini and recently ordered more juice with 80/20 PG/VG ratio. Also, its common sense that if there is less air, the initial intake of the vape will be hotter and harsher.

Hopefully, its a step forward.

I just cut a tiny piece of black electrical tape and put it over one of the holes... it actually looks okay and is easy to remove/replace.
