Why do people keep saying Change the coil, it may have Popped? Yes it can happen.........RARELY.
Simplest and easiest FIRST attempt to correct is to Adjust what is there. Next is to take more difficult steps to correct.
No need to Waste a Coil if the first one is still good.

Nothing learned if you swap to a good coil and throw away a coil that only needs a minor adjustment.

The small end piece is the Pin. It can be compressed. especially on newer coils, since the silicone grommet is softer than the original rubber one in early heads.
This pin can be gently pulled to leave a minimal gap to the grommet. I generally adjust less than 1mm.
Placement on the Battery will push the pin into final position.
tank should only be snugged, not tightened to the battery.

Thank you very much for your helpful response. I assume the pin I'm supposed to be gently pulling downward would be the little double pronged piece at the very bottom of the coil in the picture you posted? Also I should just gently do this with a small pair of pliers?
thanks for responses everyone

Yes, small needle nose pliers, Tweezers, fingernail under edge. Just don't pull to far, it can come out and cause issues. The pin shaft is about 5mm long into the grommet.
Gentle!

When things like this happen, it helps to have an apv with a screen where you can check ohms to verify whether your battery is seeing the coil at all.

Likely 99.9% of new Vapers have an Ego style battery or other with no screen to rely on. Knowledgeable assistance works best in these cases.:)

Ok now I've got another issue..... I changed the coil last night just like you guys suggested, and it started to work again. It was working perfectly and hitting like a charm and then slowly it started to stop producing large amounts of vapor. So I put it on the charger. My battery is now fully charged and the same thing is happening to this coil! Instead of it not hitting at all it now is producing very small amounts of vapor whether I have it set to 3.3 or 4.8 volts. What is wrong?

I could post a picture later today. I have a purple vision spinner adjustable voltage battery, and the tank is a "dream
Vapor" brand mini protank. I can post a picture of the box it came in etc when I get home. I bought it from a local smoke shop, I know other people that have purchased the same products and haven't run into my exact problems. I do not believe it has anything to do with the authenticity of the coils, but that could be it. Any help appreciated

Can you post a picture of your setup? When you push the button to "fire" it does light flash repeatedly or is it solid?

Are you using authentic Kanger coils?

The battery isn't blinking, it's definitely solid as if it should be at full usage. I know it's the tank because my evod tank works fine on the same
Battery.

It's not gurgling, it's not leaking. It starts out vaping great clouds them slowly begins to blow
Smaller and smaller clouds. Since I changed the coil last night it has been working great. This morning it was working OK, then it slowly started losing vapor until almost none comes out. Just like what happened to the last coil... No it's not the battery.

this is exactly what I have had to do with several of my tanks and they are back to working like a dream

What have you had to do? Please be descriptive I've tried every suggestion on the thread and NOTHING WORKS. I've done my research can't find anyone with the same problem. If one of you know of a video explaining how to fix or something, PLEASE let me know

Just uploaded a vid check original post to see

Watched the vid.

First of all: THAT IS NOT A MINIPROTANK.
That's a protank type; not a mini.

A miniprotank is like having that evod you have there, but it's glass instead of plastic.

The difference: the protank uses a 510 thread which introduces all sorts of problems, whereas both the evod and the miniprotank use the big eGo threads, and the airholes are obvious.

Now since you have both the protank and evod, you can swap around the coil between the two of them to check if the problem is with the coil.
