Mini tanks cracking?

I just got a couple of extra mini tanks less than a week ago and I see up towards the top they are starting to develop little cracks. Is this normal to have happen with the mini tanks?

I'm wondering if I'm vaping a little too much on these and the tanks are overheating.

I have 12 mini tanks in use and none have cracks. My only batteries are the G6 auto and manual.
10 of them have Halo liquids and 2 have a local vape stores 50/50 liquid. The vape store would not sell me two of their flavors as they were known tank crackers unless used in glass types.

I too wonder what liquids you may have that could lead to little fissures or checking of the mini tanks, especially if chain vaping and getting them hot. That's why I have so many.........I switch up often to prevent overheating.

It could just be the plastic flexing a bit. Little fissures. Unless it's leaking, I'd vape on. I don't know how they hold up to the vodka soak. I just rinse mine, then a soak in distilled water. But at the price point, they are disposable. Having said that, mine are 3 months, used little, but work. One, the green one, has a few hairline cracks.

I would love to use vodka to clean the tanks, but I had a bit of a drinking problem...well it was a problem, I just used to drink all the vodka until my liver started an argument with me. I use a hot water soak to clean the tanks and I can put my fingers in the water and not get burnt so I don't think the water is too hot. Now that I have my triton kit it's not so much a problem, but I like the mini-tanks to keep around as taster tanks.

Have you tried the denture tablets as someone mentioned? You could always try a dry burn and then a quick clean out with slightly diluted lemon juice or perhaps a baking soda/water solution to get the burnt taste and smell out.

I love my Tritons too but still prefer the smaller tanks. They hold 1 ml and that is plenty of most flavors for me and until I shortened the wicks on my Triton tanks, preferred the flavor I got from my little ones.
