I have received my 2nd mini vivi nova and it leaks in the same manner as the last one I purchased from gotvapes. It is a slow messy seap from where the clear tank meets the bottom thread cap. Is there anything we can do to fix this issue? This is the second unit and I also purchased a smokey colored transparent tank. They all leak in the same area. The most recent tank was filled with Tasty Vapor Blue Bull 80% PG / 20% VG and started that somewhat undetectable slick leak. I carefuly wiped off and took off my Vision Spinner and let set overnight. I woke up to a sad leaky puddle surrounding the tank. Lost .50mls of liquid. Did not overfill and secured the tank nicely. Please tell me there is some way we can exchange or refund. I have both order numbers. Thank You for your attention to this matter.

I have four of these filled and never experienced any leaking. Just wondering if you tried snugging down the tube enough? Another possible leak are would be if the head is missing the sealing o-ring or is not tightened down enough. Sorry you are having issues, my four mini's have been perfect and I have another on the way.

These are the same type of responses I receved with my first post regaurding the first vivi nova." I have a bunch of these and they are all perfect". The head is present and screwed on sufficiantly with no missing o-rings. The thin clearish rings are present on each end of the tank. I tigtened down the tank just as it should be. After the leaky night I tightened it a smidge more to where it would be forcing it if twisted any further. I wish I had the same luck you have had. I love the taste and vapor production on this thing! However after researching the ECF I am definatly not nearly the only one out there with leakage problems on this tank.

Ok so I have had a few leaky vivi novas myself. What I found out is when unscrewing the top to refill the tank, sometimes... while unscrewing, it unscrews the head as well (just a little bit) and enough to allow juice to slowly leak down the center post. I know this is not what you had explained but I'm wondering if maybe it appears to be leaking from the bottom seal?
Have you tried filling one and just leaving it unattended on counter or shelve and see what happens. My other idea was to make a thick soapy solution, tape up the bottom air holes, dip the vivi in the soap solution and blow into the drip tip and see if you see bubbles around the bottom seal (we used to do this with tires to find pinhole leaks)

Normally I would suggest a fix (not that you should have to), but I cant recommend any kind of sealant or o-ring, or, or, or..??? to fix it.
You mentioned you tried a "smoke" tank, have you tried one of the aluminum tanks? I really hope you get taken care of, because these little jewels are super...

Ok, so mini? And it is leaking where the tank threads into the base (male thread tank, female thread base)? Try cleaning the threads well with an old tooth brush, dry well, then wrapping the tank threads with thread tape. Make sure to wind it the direction you will be turning the tank so the thread tape doesn't unwind. If that is where it is leaking, thread tape should fix the issue.

I am sorry you are having these difficulties. As far as I am aware (and bear in mind I do not speak fire the company) the only replacement is for DOA, if which this is not. However, I can't tell from your post if you submitted a ticket. The link for that is in the stickies.

Hope some of this may help.

I ordered a vivi nova 2.5 when they came out the second time from gotvapes just to try them. I've learnt to recoil them and now use 100% cotton for wicking. It usually doesn't leak, but I have noticed that when it leaks it does so through the threading at the bottom of the tank. I constantly check it and wipe it and tighten it when it happens. But something that I've noticed is that you have to be very careful to not force the plastic threading through the metal bottom plate. If you force it, it will scratch up the plastic and then you will have a constant leak.

It could be that when the eliquid heats up it becomes thinner and will seep through any minor crack. These are just my musings, I really don't know.

I had this problem. I had dropped my device a time or two and it started to leak. I looked at the treads of the tube and they appeared to be stripped. I think when I dropped it it the threads became unaligned and when I tightened it it made it worse, These are plastic so they can easily strip if you're not carerful when you clean and assemble. I ordered another plastic one (because they had no black metal ones but now they do) and I was very careful when I screwed everything back together and it works like a charm...no leaks at all. You may want to order a couple new plastic tubes or a metal one. That should do the trick.

Hope this helps!

Eventually anything will leak if it is taken apart and put back together enough times. The threading is very fine and easily cross-threaded. Also if the fluid is very thin it may tend to seep a bit after a while. One easy fix is to use a strip of clear packing tape and wrap it around the seam. You can even see the clear stuff and no more leak! Each time you want to take it apart just wrap a new piece of tape around the joint. I actually use this to keep my DCTs from coming apart as well and you can't even see the tape since it is clear.

Found out the wicks were getting between the tank and the tank bottom creating a tiny space for liquid to leach up. I trimmed a tad less than 1/4" off of the wicks and am good to go! Thanks for the advice.

Excellent. Not that the other members here had any BAD advice, just IMO, adding any type of "foreign" material to fix a leak, is not my cup of tea...I personally would scrap it, and start over... Cutting, scraping, bending, twisting, drilling, is a different matter...

Once again, no disrespect to any of the other posters suggestions.....
