mint-free toothpaste?

I don't like vaping with food on my teeth, yet mint toothpaste kills the flavor. Looking online I also see cinnamon toothpaste which may have same problem...

Anyone else have this problem? What mint-free toothpaste have you had luck with? Especially want to hear from people with a history of cavities etc. Not that I have them myself, just worried about switching from my old staple to something else.

Thanks in advance!

Cinnamon toothpaste will have the same problem. Tried some once for a change of pace and I couldn't taste anything else for a short while after using it. The homemade route is probably the way to go if you want unflavored toothpaste (though I'm sure some exists somewhere I've never personally encountered it)

Heh. I remember this was a problem when I smoked cigarettes too.

It seems to be not nearly as bad with vaping. I can usually brush my teeth and then almost immediately go have a vape. Having a cigarette was the equivalent to drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth, that was always the god-damn worst.

Also as someone who is usually riddled with cavities (no matter what I do), changing toothpaste shouldn't affect that, as long as you stick to your usual brushing habits.

I think the juice has a lot to do with it. I tried some 100% VG juices and found they remained pleasant after using mint toothpaste. The flavor was greatly reduced, but soon returned as the mint wore off.

By contrast, my PG/VG mixes were very harsh - instant dry mouth and sore throat. Maybe I'm PG sensitive and that's contributing as well.
