The locking ring on this thing is a ..... and a half. The telescoping threads were stiff at first. Got them loose no problem. I can't get the locking ring undone to save my life. 4 hours after I got it, I tried using two pairs of pliers. I taped rubber around the teeth of the pliers so as not to scratch the paint job. ( it's the hand painted camo version.). Of cours I shredded the paint off the brass ring that's painted black. And put I nice ding in the bottom. I gave up, heartbroken. Now, this thing hits so hard, it's ridiculous. I had my rda set up for my fast tech m16 clone. Nano coils 7 wraps @ .37 ohms(26 awg)The flavor was great. Now it's so hot, it seems to be burning the juice. Tried a micro coil 9 wraps around an inflating needle. Came to .47 ohms. Still not great. I guess I'll just have to get it dialed in. Probably need to get at around 1 ohm. Any suggestions, or a kick in the nuts for effing up a brand new mod would be appreciated. I'm considering taking it to a gunsmith to get the lock loosened and have him cerakote that bad boy.
