Missing TFV8 top pin, can you guys help me?

Hello everyone!

So basically,

I had my TFV8 with me today as it's my main tank, and I was vaping away and I noticed the top pin was loose (This is the pin that holds the top together and allows it to swivel)

So I put the pin back into the top tank to fix it later when I got home.

But the ......n thing FELL OUT MY POCKET!

I have tried many different screws but nothing will fit!

I don't have to buy a whole new TFV8 do I? Just because I can't find a spare of this top pin.

Please tell me one of you guys have had this issue and could hopefully help me!

I have good news and bad news, which would you like first.

The good news... I FOUND IT!

The bad news, it manged to fall through my drip tip, into the coil, and then it manged to fall into through the air hole in my RDA coil into the connections.

This therefore made the ohms read massively high and I was running at 100W so therefore my cotton set on fire and I got a horrible burnt hit and had to rebuild the coil...

It would be great if someone knew where to find these top swivel pins though.

Because I can see how you could easily lose them if they fell out, and as it stands at the moment it seems that if you lose it you are looking at a whole new tank!

Yes, I was so .....n lucky, I was so worried that I would have to buy a new tank.

Although I was able to take the top pin off my TFV4, but I have put it back in now as I have manged to get the top pin for the TFV8 back.

There must be a place to buy these?

Yeah I checked everywhere including FasTech, it is not really a screw and looks to be some type of propetiary pin used for the swivel.

They don't exist anywhere, and like I have stated before, if you happen to lose it then you are looking at buying a new tank.

I am just so grateful I found it, or it would be back to my TFV4 or Uwell until I got a new tank!

I have spare orings, screwdrivers, hex screws, RBA coils... Everything.

And all it would take for me to need a new tank is a tiny pin... :/

Well I have found it now buddy, so I am of course very lucky.

But I bet this has happened to so many other people, it is a very easy thing to lose, and if you lose it... You seem to be F**ED!

I would dismatle it again and show you the pin, but I don't want to lose it again for real this time

Most people have a TFV8, so I am sure that you have seen it before (Well hopefully not as it isn't designed to come out)

I hope I do, but I have looked everywhere, I posted here to see if anyone could find one, but I don't think they are sold.

I have the TFV4... I used the black band that came with it to hold the top cap in place, keeps it from opening up on accident
