I understand Artery managed to release the Mix 80 and further release Nugget V2.0, Nugget Pro, Mix 150, Ginger, Archer Kit, and Trace tank before the 8/8 cutoff under the radar. Apparently they are getting away from proprietary usb cables they used in the original Nugget and have incorporated a replaceable 18650. It supports Ni200, Ti, Stainless Steel, TCR, Power, & Voltage Modes.

I got my Mix-80 in the mail today. Need to use it for a while longer before passing final judgement, but so far it's been excellent. I got the two-tone model (white case with a black battery door) which looks very nice. Fit and finish is great for the most part. The only issue is a slight wiggle to the battery door. The white portion is glossy but does not show fingerprints, which is a welcome change.

The menu system is reasonably straightforward, although I need to play around with it a bit more to figure out the PMG mode. It's been fine in regular wattage mode, and is performing very nicely in TC mode with Ni.

No regrets at all (so far, at least!)

PGM mode is Kanthal Preheat. It allows you to adjust the multiplier for your wattage setting during the first 2 seconds of the vape. It does not apply to TC.
  • Upon entering PGM A, B, or C, one reaches a screen that allows adjustment of two variables.
  • The First is Sec. & Next is Mult.
  • Sec. are in 0.1 increments from 0.1 - 2.0 Sec & advanced by pressing the [Fire] button.
  • These Sec 0.1 increments appear to be slices of an overall 2.0 Sec. Time Frame.
  • During each 0.1 sec slice, you appear to be able to adjust a multiplier to your wattage setting by pressing the [+] & [-] buttons.
  • By Adjusting this wattage multiplier for each 0.1sec slice over the entire 2.0 second time frame a user can define a preheat curve to be applied to the Kanthal coil you are vaping on.
  • When you have defined the entire time frame, press & hold the fire button to lock in the program.
  • Thereafter entering the program setting you will adjust your wattage to maintain proper vaping temperature of the coil after the pre-heat without overheating the coil.
