hi guys i am currently looking into a new set up....

my pv at the moment (and my very first!!) is a very simple Ego-C 650 Mah with a ce4(stardust) clearomizor
i am indeed happy with the amount of vapour volume i am getting and the ease at which i draw back to do so and have been doing alot of research on the vivi mini nova tank with rebuildable parts.

as my set up came with 2x batts and 2x tanks, charger i thought i was set, and have been vaping away quite happily since sept

then 1 clearomizors died (so i researched again and this seems common)

so am in need of some more tanks and am now curious about VV batteries too
i am just about to purchase some mini vivi nova tanks (2 of)

my questions are these...

1..with my 650mah batteries what ohm resistance works best in regards to the tanks

2.. in order to go,say, 1 year(within reason) how many spare coils would i need?
i vape about 5ml every 3days 50/50mix (its a bit runny)

3.. the VV batteries... the higher the voltage the quicker you go through juice <--- is that correct??

i am happy with the 650mah batteries as they last me all day as to give you an idea of my vaping amount per day

thank you
Darren

Hey ledazzler I'll try to answer the best I can. 1. Def low resistance. 1.8 ohm works best for those batteries because they put out between 3.3 to 3.7 volts. Battery life will suffer a little from low res though but the vape will be better. If you get a vv though it won't matter cause you can adjust voltage to work with the ohms you're running. 2. Really not sure. Some last a long time some may be duds. You can always rebuild them too. Lots of YouTube vids on that. I always like to have 5 or so on hand though. You can always order some more. 3. I feel like I go through a little more juice at higher voltage but it's not that noticeable. Hope this helps and good luck!

The best recomendation I can make is to have backups for the backup. Then get some backups for the backups, backup. It's hard to say how many of anything you'll need. It all depends on the individual. The biggest problem you will find is that your doing great with vaping and then something breaks and your stuck without something. I've got 3 rebuildable stardust in use and about 9 extra heads, plus another 4 complete units and 5 extra tubes. For the nova's I got 3 mini's and one regular in use and 6 extra ones waiting. I don't want to run out of anything.

Just what I have found so far.
Kanger T2 Version2 Clearomizers: Fit nicely in the Ego - Hold 2.2ml liquid - Good Flavor - easily changeable Coil heads

I purchased 2 to try out and 3 spare heads. Have had them in rotation as my work day units for over a month. I clean them weekly and dry burn the wicks. Have not needed to replace a head yet. Dropped one on the driveway with no damage.(ymmv)

Yes lower resistance means the coil will heat up quicker. However it is all subjective. Battery will last longer if not over taxed. I use many 1.8ohm cartos and Clearomizers. The kangers I have at 2.2ohms and know my battery will still be firing at the end of shift and on the way home. The 2.2ohm coils work well and will not wear out nearly as fast.

Personal preference? No, I'd rather be vaping my VV with the DID but why rick damaging it of worse, losing it when out.

Now would be a great time to see it they fit your needs. Check out These deals right now @ Kanger T2 V2 Sunfire Replacement Atomizer Heads (Various Resistance Levels) - Vaping Me

I'm not associated nor have I ever bought there but I found this and it is great pricing.

Howdy folks,

Six3Six hit it pretty good. The ohm of the juice holder is dependent on a couple of things, such as do you like a warmer vape with more TH or a cooler vape. But all that kinda goes out the window with a VV device like the twist. As was said, with a VV device, like the 650 twist, you can take care of the resistance by making adjustments to the batt instead of the resistance of the juice holder.

As for tanks ( and folks will disagree as its all personal preferences here ), don't try to purchase enought tanks to get you thru the year. No telling what can or will happen. Maybe someone walks up to you with a DCT and the next thing you know, that's what provides your sweet spot. All the vivi novas you bought don't get use often afterwards....that is until a few months later when you use one for the heck of it and rediscover how wonderful they are, lol. I have 2 dct tanks and love them, 6 vivi nova mini tanks and love them, and just bought a VModXL, which uses no tank at all, lol. Get yourself a few vivi novas, easy to use, fill, repair, rebuild. If you haven't tried cartos, pick up a couple just to try, you may love them, and maybe a decent atomizer for dripping. I haven't used my cartos or atomizers but once or twice, and now the device I'm using uses a small carto or an atomizer.

Stuff changes my friend. The bottom line here, grab a few vivis, 2 or 3 would be nice. Replace them as necessary, add to them as you find more juices and accessories you wanna try or as the need arises. The other stuff comes when it comes.....and it will come, HA!

Good Luck

bloody heck you guys are simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you, thank you, thank you to all!!!!

masterful minds you all have
i will re-read this thread a few times to make real sense of it. I've seen some videos on you tube.... how cow there is some serious gadgetry out there mind boggling stuff.....

i will (for now) keep it simple as i am happy with how everything is going!

but what i seem to notice is..... the more you spend on high end gadgetry the less it breaks down. Would that statement seem like a reasonable thing to say?????
