I don't usually go for fruit flavors, but I got a small amount of betelgeuse with my last order. My idea was to mix it with some Frenilla (my favorite), and hopefully come up with something interesting.

The problem is, I have no idea how much of what to mix. Too much Frenilla could easily overpower just about anything, but too little of it could make it just another fruit vape and not to my liking. Testing as I go could also be a problem, since I mostly vape on untanked boge 2.0 cartos(if it ain't broke...) and have no atomizers at all.

Has anyone tried this combo? What were you going for and what was your experience? If there's already a thread about this I apologize and humbly ask to be linked.

When in doubt use a 50/50 mix in your carto and see. Vape it right through then make adjustments up or down as needed...I mix any fruits with CLS or frenila in this ratio and I love it. :thumb:

Agree with dreadymark...to me a little fruit goes a ways...particularly with nicoticket juices since they have very present flavors.

I actually have a Betelgeuse /cls mix in one of my tanks now and it is a 25 Betelgeuse /75 cls...It works for me (also have refresh/crème brulee mix in another tank at about the.same ratio)

I'll post the results as soon as the order comes and I find a mix I like, but I just ordered today so it could be a while. Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll try a 75/25 frenilla/fruit mix and go from there. Boge cartos are so cheap nowadays I don't mind wasting a few.

Well then welcome to the family!! And it won't take that long. Your order will be in the mail on Monday and you will get it next week...;)

Welcome to the NuT house Patrick! Good advice, above... 75/25 is a good spot to start, adjusting to taste as the tank dwindles...

Another thing you can do is take the filler material out of a carto you were going to throw away or try to clean. Use it to drip into. Just don't drip into the inner tube. Drip down the side. Works in a pinch. :) Try 1 drop Frenilla with 1 drop Betelgeuse for an idea of what a 50/50 mix would be and adjust from there.

My order came this afternoon. I tried a 75/25 frenilla/betelgeuse mix. It's honestly really good, even for a non-fruit person. Dreadymark's sugesstion pretty much nailed it. If I try it again I'll probably go 90/10 frenilla/betelgeuse. The fruit really does jump out at you. The hardest part was getting the two to mix. The lighter betelgeuse sat right on top of the frenilla. I had to shake it around forever until I was satisfied they were mixed enough. I can't seem to properly describe what it tastes like...mixed-fuit cotton candy maybe? Someone else needs to try this and give a proper description. Or just give one if you already have. It's definitely good, worth giving a shot.

I should probably mention that the frenilla was listed on the website as a month old, so it's good flavor-wise. I couldn't find how old the betelgeuse was, and I don't know what it's supposed to taste like anyway, so I'm no help there.

Next NT order, grab a Drippin' to go bottle and mix it in that. That is what I use to mix flavors. I might have to give your mix a try!

I saw that drippin' to go bottle but never checked out what exactly it was...that'll be my next stop I guess. I used an old glass sample bottle. If you give it a go, maybe try a few drops of betelgeuse at time until you get where you want to be. It really is that strong in the mix, a few drops could make a difference.

Well, I have 200ml's of well steeped Frenilla (from the April batch) to use up and it is too strong and sweet for me to vape plain.

When you do get a good ratio and try it please post the results! I'm really interested on how that would turn out. I want to try AA with either Frenilla or CLS for sorta of Apricots and custard/cream taste...yum!

I gotta say that AA with Frenilla is a wonderful mix!
