If you know you are going to mix your various liquids all at 70/30 at a determined nic level for example, does it make sense to mix up a larger amount of nic/vg/pg and store it, then portion it out as you need to mix up a specific flavor, say 30ml at a time and just add the flavorings to it?

Getting tired of pulling out all the bottles, measuring tools, etc. Trying to expedite the process a bit.

This works but the thing you have to remember is your flavorings are going to reduce the nicotine strength. So if you mix up a bottle of say 12gm strength nic with PG/VG then when you use that base to make a flavored juice the percentage of flavorings that go in it will reduce the nic strength by a certain amount. You will not end up with a 12mg juice so you need to do the math.

I can't see how a small amount of flavor can dilute 16mg of nicotine enough to make a difference.....the premix is added to the new bottle with the flavor.... it's not going to be enough to cause a malfunction at 30ml, 15mls, 10mls, 5mls, or any mls that I can think of.....I haven't noticed it in mine. If it is a concern then find the amount of nicotine being offput and make a base with that additional amount in it, problem solved.

Well it depends on how much flavoring you put in, some flavors require only a little some more.

So for example if you're mixing your 12mg pre mixed nic base with 15% flavoring your end nic strength will be 10.2mg etc.

I've done that. Be sure to label the bottle with something that won't fade or fall off.

I like greater control of my base. Some flavors, if I want to adjust the sweetness just a bit, I can add more VG to my next trial. Some, if I am not getting enough throat hit for some reason, I may want to adjust additives like PGA.

I have been known to adjust a flavor by just adjusting the amount of VGtoPG ratio.

But, I like to tinker and get it...just right...for my taste buds. So maybe I am just weird.
