Hi all,

Bit new here and still getting to grips with things. I recently bought an E-Cig starter kit with one bottle of e-liquid. It's currently a standard CE4 but looking at updgrading this in the next week or so.
I just wondered if it would be ok to mix e-liquids? E.g: half strawberry half blackcurrant. And is it ok to mix liquids if they are from different shops/websites?

Lastly, I've heard that some e-liquids are more 'harsh' on clearomizers/tanks than others, such as menthol, is this true?

Sorry if these seem like really newbie questions!

I've mixed fluids from different suppliers. Just remember, there are different mixes (PG/VG ratio) different nic levels, etc. that will be effected by mixing them. I've even mixed in drug store USP VG into juice to either amp up the vapor or mute the flavor some, or just to lower the nic level.

Some tanks (plastic) are effected by menthol and cinnamon flavorings. They can and will bite right in to the plastic either discoloring or downright cracking them. I try to only use glass tanks. Once you taste your favorite vape through a glass tank, you'll be hard pressed not to taste the plastic in a standard cleromizer again.

Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Make sure to open all his links! Two of those links are:

* A blog post by ECF member The Ocelot titled "EEEKKK it's Melting".
* A "HUGE" list of juice and flavorings that may cause problems as far as cracking, fogging, or etching polycarbonate tanks (compiled by ECF member my4jewels).
