mixing flavor with unflavored e liq

How many parts flavor and how many parts e liq? 50/50?

Depends on the flavoring and how strong/weak you want it. I've NEVER mixed 50%...I've never mixed 30%.

Like Parallex2 says, it depends on the flavoring. I have some from Flavour Art that is good at 2%.

Somewhere between 1/99 to 30/70.

DIY juice is not a boxed cake mix. (Not yet, at least)

Start with 1% flavor and keep adding another percent until you find the right flavor for you.

Unless your base liquid is very close to what your target strength is you'll need to do the math first. for example, if your liquid is 36 mg and you want 18 mg you need to cut it 50/50 to get 18mg. But it wont be 50% flavoring it will be 50% VG/PG/Flavor and 50% base. I personally would play with the flavor mix to get it close before adding the nic base, then make minor adjustments because the base will change the flavor and TH slightly.

Try using a calculator like daath's calculator on the web here or Breaktru's if you want to download it here I have found these tools to be very helpful in creating and sharing recipes. daath added the ability to list flavors and search for recipes by flavor.
