Ok...penguiness suggested I start a new thread to ask my questions so here goes. I received a 30+mil bottle of 6mg Band Camp yesterday in vape mail that I acquired in a trade. Also in vape mail yesterday was a 15 mil bottle of Band Camp that I bought in the classified section that is NZ. So, can I mix the 2 together and what will be the reduction of nicotine. By my calculations, it would take the 6 to a 4? 38 mil, 6 Nic plus 15 mil,NZ.
And I purchased 15 mil of PBC at 12 and NZ and I have an empty 30 mil bottle. Can I mix them in the 30 mil bottle so I won't have to worry about mixing in the tank?

Sounds right to me and yes you can. Trying to get an even 50/50 mix in a tank would be harder than a bottle IMO
Yeah I know. When I tried it last night, I think I had too much 12 because the TH and the Nic buzz almost did me in. I poured some of the liquid back in the 12 bottle and added more NZ. It wasn't as strong then.

In Band Camp, you are correct, it is 4mg
In PBC, you have 6mg after mixing the 2 bottles. I would mix in the empty 30ml bottle. If you need to reduce the nic down to 4, you would need to add 15ml more NZ to the 30.

Hello Lynn, Here's an easy link for you to obtain your desired nic levels at different volumes.

Cloud 9 Vaping e-liquid Mixing Calculator

Simply punch in base strength, strength required and final quantity while zeroing the rest out keeping in mind that your non nicotine liquid is the near zero.

;)

Thanks!! This will come in handy as I negotiate my downward drop in nic. Another question....I also received some Hummingbird. Now that is a thick, thick liquid. I tried to vape it last night and couldn't with the clearos I have. Is this a liquid that can only be used by dripping?

I didn't have a problem with mine ..think it was in a mPT2 last time I used it.

The coil in that particular tank was 1.8 ohms and I was using an MVP2. Maybe I didnt have the heat high enough? The tank was an aspire BDC with a BVC coil in it.

If it's a well used coil, change it out. If not, run with it. 1.8 ohms @ 10 watts= 4.2 volts. Give this a shot and report back. ;)

Ok...tried this again. 1.9 ohms at 11 gave me a burnt taste. Same with 10.5, 10 and 9.5. So far, 9 is the sweet spot...no more burnt taste but I'm not getting too much taste of anything. I read the description and its cranberry with lychee...what should I be tasting? Like Reign said though, I'm getting a TON of vapor! Lol

And I'm proud to say that I have used NZ liquids for the last 4-5 hours and so far, I don't have the urge to rip someone's head off or go and buy a pack of stinkies. I may be able to pull this off!

Sorry Lynn, I may have been a bit over zealous with my recommendation considering your set up. I failed to take into account your limited air flow when using ( I am assuming) the Naughty type tanks. If you bump back to around 8 watts@ 1.9 ohms this will give you 3.9 volts. Maybe try cutting back to 3.6 volts ( just shy of 7 watts) and bumping up from there until you find your sweet spot would have been the better approach.

By comparison and your inspiration, right now I am vaping "The Bird" in a dripper at 0.5 ohms @ 4.1 volts which adds up to 34 watts with no burnt taste at all. The flavor is all there as well. This is of coarse all due to more air getting to my coils.

With that being said, have you been vaping a bit or a lot today? Hummingbird is a wonderfully subtle flavored juice in which sometimes the flavor can get a bit lost on heavy vaping days. If you are finding that it is lacking in flavor for you right now, maybe the best thing would to be to put it aside and re-visit it first thing in the morning with a fresh tongue. Once you find that sweet spot, it is indeed very delicious. It is sometimes necessary to chase a particular juice a bit in order to find it's full potential. Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping!

So far I have only been getting the Lychee flavor, that may have something to do with the watts I am running at between 35-44 on a fresh battery. But that was also FOOB, I have been letting it sit for a few days (almost a week) I am going to rewick the StingrayX tomorrow and see what I get off it then and will post back.

I changed out the tank it was in. Put it in a mini PT3 with a pretty good coil in it. It's at 2.1 ohms and 9 watts. Tons of vapor plus better taste than before. I think I will take your suggestion to heart and put it away for the night. I really would love to taste this.
