For all the mixologists out there I have a question.
I remember reading a forum post somewhere about premixing single flavor juices at a set percentage(i believe I read 10 to 20%), allowing the flavors to steep, and then combining the single flavors into various mixtures to find one that suits me best.
Does anyone else have experience doing this or know where that link was?
I'm asking because most of my favorites are custard-based and those take up to 2 months to really steep to perfection and waiting two months to make tweaks would be quite onerous. And I believe this method would eliminate the post-mix steeping so I can make adjustments immediately.
For example, I'm currently mixing up a vanilla custard using 15% CAP v1, 2%DDL, 2% Vanilla, & 1% EM.
Using 20% mixes I would make this with 75% VC, 10% DDL, 10% Vanilla, & 5% EM.
After mixing my pre-steeped flavor mixes I would test vape and either adjust the percentages or start adding new flavors(want to try adding cinnamon danish swirl).
