Lets say I have a mix of 5% Coffee, 2.5% Chocolate and 2.5% Vanilla. Isolating the flavors and factoring in percentages would lead to -
50% Coffee
25% Chocolate
25% Vanilla
If I mixed a gallons worth of the flavors alone in the correct percentages and let that steep over time, would it taste 'steeped' if I then added the steeped flavor blend at the intended 10% strength?
I'm wondering if this is the only possible (or feasible, I should say) route towards 'pre-steeping' liquids. If I were mixing blends for family or friends or even opening up shop, and wanted to give the option of pre-steeped juice, it wouldn't be feasible to blend this "coffee chocolate vanilla" mix in every ratio and nic strength possible.
