yeah i was just didnt wanna spend another 26 dollars just for an adapter. But you have a good point, itll probably be a stronger connection. thanks bro

No Problem... :) I had a couple of GGTS (aluminum & nickel-plated) over the years before Imeo finally buckled-down to the pressure to make a SS version.. I got tired of the "GG Bullshat" of always waiting months at a time for devices and spare parts to be released, restocked, etc... I sold every piece of GG gear I had.. Too many other nice mods out there which aren't as much hassle to own IMO.. ;)

I'm sure you will be happy with your GG purchase. :)

reading through this thread, people are saying that the GGTS base would work with our MKB-TS. Ill be using the base on a terminator c. looking at the term-c right now, it confuses me on how the base screws on it.

The Terminator C rebuildable ceramic assembly will screw directly into the GGTS adapter, then into the top cap threads of the collector tank.

i agree on the wait. I ordered the GGTS, the New Stealth cap with re-threader and the adapter from COV right now too. I wouldnt really need any other spare parts for a good while.

I'm super excited to get it.

Instead of putting the atty section in the 510 base, you put it in the gg base....that simple. You will not be using the 510 base.

Then screw it in where the brass top cap would be.

Earlier tonight I replaced my good working 0.6 ohms 32 gauge dual coil setup with a 0.8 30 gauge dual coil setup, now I have to do the warm up drag thing again. In the morning when I get home from work I'll do it over using 32 gauge resister wire and shoot for about 0.6 again. This in on an Ithaka but I think it's close to on topic.

While 0.2 difference doesn't sound like much is is quite a few watts different but I think my problem lies more with the wire size than watts.
Well maybe it is the wattage difference, 6 watts about
And maybe this would be closer to being on topic if I posted to the thread that I thought that I was in, all them pictures of Terminators got me confused. LOL

DW, are those Ithaka guts? Two things I notice that differ in your setup vs. mine: the positive post is way out of the GGTS base, and there appears to be a brass protrusion. What are you hiding inside?

It seems to me the rebuildable portion recesses too low for the mouthpiece when I allow that much of the positive post out.

If you think about it, because I had to, that is probably the original design and the 510 base is the one that fits not so right. The brass looking area of the positive pin is just a reflection or something because it's a stock Term part (that is one piece there).
The juice doesn't have to wick as far I guess cause it seems to work better.
Just the light guys

I gotta ask, am I the only one taking a Dremel to the ceramic channels? I have been doing this from the beginning and talking about it here and there. It's really easy and I have not broken one as yet, I've done seven so far. Nobody has ever mentioned doing it, not even do I see it mentioned anywhere on the internet. This modification is really worth doing...................................................................................

Ok, I'm back to 32 gauge dual coils @ 0.7 ohms and my initial drag each time is good, no more warm up drag.
About 18 watts @ 0.8 and about 20.5 @ 0.8, not much difference in the watts but what a difference in the vape, I contribute it to wire size, the 32 is just more responsive I guess.
