Got my GGTS Oddy bases, thanks to the tip from dwcraig1. Three out of three screw right onto the MKB with no extra effort or machining. Had to totally re-think my center post rig... again. Also, seems I should have gotten the "oddy plastic" to insulate the positive post at the bottom against the new base. Fortunately I had a rubber shoulder washer that fits the bill.

Jeremy Evans, Stormy's Vapor Cellar has the Stealth Cap in stock currently. Coincidence or not, Stormy posted inventory just as Vapourtrend went out-of-stock. I'm beginning to realize there are only a few players working the GG clones. Also don't know how I seemed to receive the only defective stealth cap in the world.

ISSUES?
:vapor:
Right on UA72Riddle... I'm just a maniac. Got my first mech mod 4 years ago and haven't stopped modding mods since. Truth is I didn't HAVE TO mod anything on the MKB either, but I'm attempting to max out the function and longevity of my MKB. After mine worked OK out-of-the-box I decided it would be in my ability to make it better. My MKB happens to be totally titts right now. What you've read here is a history of group experiences, and for awhile there we were like early adopters.

I found a way to put the bottom cap on my dremel and spun it against some 400 grit sandpaper. Yup thats defiantly brass under the gold and copper plating...Good call inganeer:) If your wondering if I'm going to shine it up...nope. It's already got a nice patina going to match the Ace Hardware brass button and Ghost Modder top tube. By the time I die they should be completely black:p

The file uploader went funky on me, but here's the threaded adjustable positive post I made. Also a tank mod I made yesterday for a Diver.

The nylon insulator can be threaded off, and the post can be flipped to accept an eGo or 510 adapter. On the underside is a hardwood custom insulator with a brass instert that has inner threads to allow the screw-adjust of the center post. In the picture I have it ready to interface with the Oddy GGTS base.

There are supposed to be some nice GG top caps coming within a week or so. It's some kind of tarnish-resistant brass alloy with a beefy brass floating pin. :) they aren't listed yet, but I would imagine they will turn up here: GG Stealth Or here: Stealth Accessories

I more than likely will be tempted to grab one...

OK, I will first apologize for the noobness of my following questions. I just purchased a MKB and I did so before I discovered this thread. I have received my mod and was saddened to find out I couldn't just slap my Tank on it and start ripping. I use primarily a standard DCT and an AGA-T genny when I'm feeling frisky. My questions are, what will I need exactly so that I can vape my tanks on this mod? Also where would be the best place to get said parts? Thank you very much for any and all advice!

So what does DW use on the threads of his MKB-TS, well the same thing that I use on the threads of all my other mods, candle wax and very little. It's not going to make a mess or collect things like lint and grit (not much anyway). On the MKB I'm only doing the tele tube threads as it get all the exercise.
