I believe I still have one set up with the Kir Fanis plastic. Apparently most of my liquids aren't tank crackers :)
But in general I prefer the steel and glass tanks...

The IBTanked glass that MiriamWTH linked to is thicker then the first glass tanks that came out for the DID a couple years ago, and mine have survived quite a few little falls. It doesn't really bulge out from what I can tell.

If Jim can't get you a plastic one, I'll also look for mine and send it on if I find it.

Thanks evilfrog! That's very kind of you. I'll hit you up if Jim can't find one or 8 of them in his back room.

Hiya guys,
I am almost ready to buy my v2 poldiac, might anyone pass me some info on the 'Negative Pole pin with spring' option instead of the hotspring. How does this differ from one another? Is there an advantage from one or the other?

I installed the 'Negative Pole pin with spring' option in a Poldiac V2 yesterday for a friend. It lowers the voltage drop when used instead of the hotspring. The small screw that comes with the kit is only used when using 18350 tube and pants I believe. For other size tubes and pants use the screw that comes installed in the bottom of the full switch housing of the Poldiac. You have to adjust both this screw and the negative pole pin to make contact with the battery, but not be overly tightened and damage the battery when the bottom cap is installed. When I installed the kit yesterday I screwed both the screw on the bottom of the switch head and the negative pole pin both all the way tight and installed the battery and the end cap. I then shook the Poldiac to check for the battery being loose, which it was. I adjusted them a little and tried the battery shake test again. I kept doing this until there was not battery movement, but not tight enough to damage the battery or put pressure on it's ends. I did not screw the negative pole pin out as much as I did the screw on the bottom of the switch head so it would still have a good amount of threads engaged. The small spring that comes with the kit goes under the negative pole pin to keep it tight in the end cap threads. If you change to a different brand battery I would recommend to go through the adjustment routine again as the new battery could be longer or shorter.
Like I stated above this kit lowers the voltage drop, but you give up the safety feature of having a hot spring if you have a dead short. The Poldiac I installed the kit in yesterday hah a voltage drop of .07 volts after the installation. This was with an atomizer with a 1 ohm coil and with a Sony US18650VTC battery. I am sure almost all of this voltage drop was due to the internal resistance in the battery.
I have two Poldiacs and I plan on getting the negative pole pin kit for both the next time I order from MMVapors. I have enjoyed my Poldiacs and doing business with MMVapors. A really great group of people to deal with and great customer service. I have a Nanos Polished Brass 18650 size on order at the present time.

Miriam WTH will be at work in a couple of hours and I am sure she will be able to add to or correct my thoughts.

Hi!

i am really looking forward to ordering a nano! looks totally awesome and i love love love the button! awesome!

one question though, would you also offer hybrid connectors for them that work like the 4Nine mod top cap by tarsius? as in, "just" an ss plate that screws into the tube and has a 510 thread in the middle to use the atty as connector to the battery directly?

so looking forward to getting my hands on one of them nanos! :)
Cheers,
rafa

Another question, what kind of threading do the nanos/poldiacs have?

"I don't often put my new Temon Hybrid down, but when I do, I gaze at it adoringly" :D

After a couple of failed attempts, I got a basic build working nicely... just a 4/3 wrap of 0.2mm kanthal on about 3.5x5cm of 400 gauge mesh (rolled on a paper clip, so about 1mm hole down the middle). Maybe a more exotic build will come later, but this is working very well!

I was tempted to also buy a D20 and a D14, and wish I had since thay're out of stock now. Where have they all gone?

But the one thing I'd really like to get is a polished SS 'umbrella' drip tip, gonna put that on my wishlist :)

You get a temon then a D20 then a TNS as you realize that although you aquire so many things in life, yet so very few manage to provide a long lasting sense of satisfaction. I still have that gaze when I look at these objects :) real craftsmanship does this I suppose.

The first review of the Nanos (and a give away!)

Exclusive : Nanos mechanical by MMVapors | TimboZero Vaping

This review just makes me want the Nanos I ordered on the first day they were offered even more. It has been almost three weeks, so they should be shipping in the near future.
The only good thing about getting older is that time seems to fly by faster, so it does not seem like it has been three weeks really.

The picture with the engraved tube looked awesome. I for sure will getting one of those on a future order.
I think I understand how the bottom switch is built now by reading the review.

Thanks for posting this review.
