Ok, I feel bad but I just can't go through the thousands of pages of the previous thread and this one.... please don't hate me
I've been using my original genesis prototypes for the last few years (yes, from when genesis was first conceived) and it may be time for replacements. (...the 510 connector threads on my favorites wore out and they were set in blocks of epoxy). I found the DID and sent them the questions below with a bunch more. Yes, MiriamWTH immediately replied to my first inquiry but I figured I'd post a couple from my second emai here and get more input
Background: Seems a lot has changed in the last couple of years or so with sub ohm and different wicks and all sorts of stuff like that. I'm pretty sure I'm a die hard genesis user -- single coil running about 1.6 ohms around a 400 SS mesh wick rolled solid to about 2 mm. My 4 year old Silver Bullet with a 18650 works just fine. No variable anything. I'm thinking about getting 2 of them. At first glance maybe a mini and a standard. Maybe a gemini.
So here are a couple of the questions maybe appropriate for here:
1) are the top caps for all models threaded?
2) Is the drip tip hole in the top cap the "standard" 510 size?
3) What is the included tip material? (I like delrin)
4) Can I buy replacement parts? top and bottom insulators, center posts, o-rings
5) Can I get see-through
tanks? I like the SS ones but may want something to see the
juice level. Are the
tanks a "standard" size -- inside and outside diameter?
6) Why do the different models have different size wick holes? As above I've been using a 2 mm solid rolled 400 ss mesh wick. (Not for any particular reason other than it works and fits my current wick hole).
7) I do not draw into my mouth and then inhale. I just direct inhale. My current air hole looks to be about 3 mm. Can I drill out the air hole in the top cap? I have power tools
Other dimensional questions I'll leave to the email I just sent to support.
thanks everybody.
