Even though it cost me some unnecessary cash, I just pulled the trigger on a 22.6mm satin OverOne to pair with my soon to be delivered Full Satin Classic Poldiac. Had I not been in such a hurry to order the Poldiac I could have snagged the bundle deal and saved a good bit of cash. But, no regrets. I can't wait until my MMV goodies arrive!

Oh cool! I challenge you to coil build battle! :glare:

I just got my Uma a few days ago. It's so much nicer in person than any pictures I've seen of it. It has posed a problem for me, although a good problem. My other brass or brass trimmed mech's I like the soft patina of the brass when it ages. The Uma looks so darn nice all sparkly and shiny I'm perplexed whether to let the finish 'age' or keep it like 'new'.

Oh allow UMA to stay new ... let her be your Premier Showpiece :) You let the other one's be "aged" :p

OK that's sort of extreme. Not saying I'm not loving it :)

Congrats to all you folks on your new Poldiacs. Sort of want one myself. But that's how I feel about all the MMV gear. Want at least one of each. Poldi. Aella. Another TNS.

Nuh uh! Pfft, I will be shopping for some white gloves as soon I am done posting in this thread  ... don't judge me

I am also thinking about a Temon hybrid too ... I'm thinking

I think you will really enjoy the OverOne. I have been using one every day since they were first released and it is by far my favorite dripper. I asked Jim, the owner of MMV, every few weeks last year to make us a dripper as did a few others. He finally said he had the design in his head and would make us a dripper. Others were then making suggestions on how it should be built and such. I just told them I had no suggestions as I fully trusted Jim to build the best dripper known to man. I mean this man had already built the best mechanical mod ever made and for sure did not need any input for a dripper design from me. He had also already built some great Jenny style atomizers also.
And he delivered big time with the OverOne.

The DID is like one of the most famous atomizers ever! Wasn't it the first high end atomizer that ever got cloned?

Challenge accepted. ;)

I suspect the Poldiac/OverOne combo will see much use. I've culled my mod herd from about 20 down to 10 so the Poldiac will get lots of love and attention, that's for sure.

Done! But I need until next week due to my review schedule, so DON'T POST any build pics until I am ready ... because that is cheating  Once I get the OverOne set up I plan to keep with it mainly with the Miriam as it is my first complete MMV set up.

We lovers of MMV products can thank the DID as it is the "father" of all the great products now produced by MMV. It was Jim's idea for the DID that lead to the creation of this great company.

I had to post this because I was determined to beat inswva to building the OverOne

I was a little nervous going into this build because I knew that proper positioning of the coils were crucial to good flavor and performance. I did watch Jim's build video although I was still unclear about how he was bending the positive lead to shape before installing it.

I managed to get this done on my first build which is great, although my coils are no where near as perfect as Jim's were. I don't want to give away too many of my impressions as I prefer to wait until my review is published with my detailed thoughts. That being said .. I am a happy girl right now, and I have a nic headache but I can't stop trying to chain vape Geisha with the OverOne.

My intention was to run the OverOne with the Poldiac until my Nanos arrives, so I only put this on the SXmini so that I could meter and test fire it. But doesn't the OverOne look great with the SXmini too? :D These are not my usual pretty photos, I just wanted snap a couple of photos because I was so pleased with how my build turned out. :)

Thanks dear .. I will admit that when I first saw pics of the OverOne on MMV's site, I wasn't that moved by it. But Portertown spoke so highly of it that it intrigued me. Now having it in hand I agree with you 100%, the OverOne is very aesthetically appealing, and I like that it would match up well with the refined and the rugged. I think it is quite handsome looking, and it is a total plus that its look is very versatile and will look great with different style devices. :)

I thought the same thing when I looked at it at the MMV site. Looking at it now in your picture sure shows it in a different light. Your right, it looks like it would look good on a lot of different devices. I might have to reconsider getting one now.....

Nikki,
Glad you are liking the OverOne.
It has such simple and clean lines and has no goofy logo or such on it. When I first saw the pictures of the prototype of it with the air flow adjustment fully closed I could not figure out how this thing was going to work. I could not see anyway for air to enter. Jim did a good job of teasing us with those first pictures.
I agree that it looks good with any mod and is still my favorite rda.
I am waiting for your review and interested in your thoughts on the OverOne.

Oh I am loving it at the moment actually. I agree about the clean lines, its a very classy looking atty and I like that. The air flow is insane, and the flavor is spot on too. At this moment there is nothing negative I can say about it, although it did take longer to get the coils set up right. That is not really a negative to me because once you set it up its not like it has to be rebuilt often, just rewicked.

I can't wait to set it up with the Nanos  I got the mixed Satin with the 350 as the main tube, but I have seen the OverOne set up with the all Satin ext tube Nanos and I think it looks so slick.

Beautiful picture hun, I love it! My OverOne is vaping BEAUTIFULLY for me too .. What is interesting is that I usually vape 12mg with drippers no problem, I don't have to drop my nic. But the OverOne OMG .. I had a nic headache within 5 minutes of vaping, but the flavor was so good that I couldn't stop. The juice I have in it now I love, so its killing me that I can't chain vape it, so I guess I will have to get some 6mg

My satin 22.6mm OverOne arrived this morning. It is a beautifully crafted atomizer - simply awesome. Great work!
