I need to be in this thread also. hehe. Another Poldiac is calling me ;) in but at the moment I'm not so satisfied with the Miriam I just got. :(

I cleaned the grease/PG off the shirt's sleeve but the shirt can still spin freely and covers my button sometimes when I vape. The button I have to press really hard all the way in to fire sometimes. I got a hot button and misfires.

I took it all apart, cleaned it, but still the same :(

Could the button problem be with the magnets?
For the spinning of the shirt, try removing the o-ring and wrapping one layer of dental floss around the groove to expand the o-ring alittle. Maybe that will solve that problem.

G-weezy.
Sorry to hear you are having problems with your Poldiac.
As far as the shirt spinning too easy you could put a little dental floss under the oring as already suggested. As juice gets on the oring it will swell in time and the shirt should snug up. One of my Poldiacs had this problem for the first couple of weeks. There is a fine line between too tight and too loose. You could also take the shirt off and press two opposing sides of it in just a few thousands of an inch, being very careful to not over do it.

I have heard of a few new Poldiac switches being a little fussy at first. What normally fixes the problem is to make sure the "double screws" are not screwed into the plastic(peek) switch housing too tight. These screws only need to be just snug. The contact pin in the push button has to fully contact the small "nipples" on both the double screws. If the double screws are screwed in too tight it can prevent a good contact with the contact pin that is in the push button.
Also check the contact pin and the two slots in the button where the nipples on the double screws sit when the switch is together to make sure they are 100% clean. It only takes just a speck of anything to keep these parts from getting a good contact. I had a small black speck of something get in one of my switches and it about drove me crazy until I found it. This switch has a very, very small contact area by design. At the low voltage we use, this small contact area helps to keep itself clean of oxidation. Check to make sure there is nothing behind the back magnet causing it to sit too far forward and preventing full travel of the push button.
Also, be sure to always fully press the button in when using the Poldiac.

If the problem continues, contact Miriam at MMVapors support and she will take good care of you.

I am sure you have seen the manual and switch video on the MMVapors site, but just in case I will post the link.

I have to be honest here and tell you that it was not actually Vapor Authority's fault, it was our fault in sending them the Thorin instead of the Thror that they had ordered from us. I am happy to see that they resolved your problem to your satisfaction though. Behind the screens we are currently exchanging the products to them for the right products.

Well that is nice of you Jim to speak up for Vapor Authority, it shows how much Integrity you have :) As I said to Todd at VA, mistakes happen, we are Human, as long we we try our best to make our mistakes right then all is forgiven. So thank you for owning the mistake on their behalf, I am still a MMV fan and now Vapor Authority too! :D

I was just looking at the Poldi's again, and went to the Classics. They are 50% off? That makes em about $67.00 + shipping. Wow! Are they closing them out?

I am kind of safe as long they don't put the Sleek's on sale ... please don't put those on sale  Maybe in a few months? Being that I am a now genuine fan of MMV, of course I have future plans to expand my collection

Did you email Miriam at MMV as I suggested? If not, then please do, I am sure you will help you get sorted. This is clearly a one off because I certainly don't have these issues and we got the same one .. So please contact them so my Weezy can be happy too

Try and only put the double screws "thumb-nail-tight" and make sure with the alignment tool that the button is lined up properly.

same here, exactly. had to check carefully how the switch was working, by disassembling it twice.
lubed the rice pin and the double screws (but this is not necessary at all). while assembling it back, pressed the button to check its alignment, then unpressed it a bit to allow the double screws to be screwed. now the shirt is tight enough (i can spin it to lock the mod intended, though), and the switch is smooth. no more missfires.

Thanks for all the input. I brought it to work with me today, so it has to work. ;) I took it apart again and made sure the button was moving freely and nice while securing the screws. I replaced the O-ring with the spare.

Everything is going smoothly all morning today. No misfire, shirt moves a little but not a lot like before.

As of right now I'm satisified. :) All this brushed SS sexyness. :p
