MNKE 18650

i have a pair of these orange MNKE 18650 and they seem to be outperforming the VCT4s and LG HE4s in my flagship mech, they seem to last longer with a very consistent hit using a Sapor @ .3 ohms across the board. Is this just perception? The MNKEs weren't lasting as long the above in the Sig150, FWIW.

What are the ratings (amps and mAh) for that MNKE?

Something like this is often a perception matter, but....
Since it's a rewrap of one of the big manufacturer's batteries it could be a Samsung 30Q or LG HG2 3000mAh battery. These would last longer than the VTC4 or HE4 and with a 0.3 ohm coil would have a fairly flat discharge voltage for a decent amount of time.

I remember picking the pair up at a B&M in a pinch and they were cheap and out of the Sonys.

If they were 30Q's or HG2's I think they would have rated them higher than 2000mAh. Don't know what cells they use. If you wanted to take an in-focus shot of the top and bottom of the MNKE I might be able to match it up to the photos of one of the batteries I've tested. But it can be tough to do with the wrap still on so it might not be worth it.

That dimple in the top cap is quite unique. It doesn't match any of the LG, Samsung, or Sony batteries I've tested though. Unfortunately, I have no idea who made that battery.

MNKE is a good battery. I have one and rotate it with my VCT 4s.

It's interesting to read what's out there. Apparently mnke stopped making 18650s but are making 26650s for packs used for hybrid cars in Europe. It also brings up whether rdtvapor tests these to come up with their specs, most sites list this as a 1500mAh battery.

MNKE makes their own batteries. Realize these are only 20 amps continuous discharge rate. I had them rated at 1500 mAh, but perhaps MNKE has upgraded them recently.
