Just out on the national news ... Borders and Walden Book Stores will all be closed by the end of September. Any of you who appreciate the classics aughta hoof it down to their local bookstore, betcha there's bargains to be had!!

You guys got me thinking .. what would 3v vaping be with practically unlimited current? I slapped 2 alkaline Rayovac "C" cells in the baby and lit it off.
Surprisingly, it works decently at 3v ... about the same vapor as our old 510 kits (and I bet the batts would last for weeks!) ..
I wonder what voltage the little 510's are .....

WOW! I didn't even know they were made, Madvapes doesn't list them and that's always where I buy batts. Thanks for the tip, 26500 is the same size as "C" cells, would work perfectly. Cool!!!!
The only place I've found them in stock is Super T's(I think that's right) They're IMR I think, I'll go check and post a link

Out of stock at Super T, COV, and Lighthound but did find this link AW IMR 26500 3.7V 2300mAh UnProtected Rechargeable Battery (Selangor, end time 7/25/2011 11:30:00 PM MYT) I've never ordered anything from here so I don't know about them. If they're that hard to find I might have to change my plans. Maybe someone else knows a good source or about the one I linked to. Crap! Seemed like a good idea........

There is a new Monkeybox wood mod called Kong which uses the 26500 which *are* a little scarce now. However someone did report getting a ship notice on these batts recently, I'll find out from where and post here when I find out.

I am not sure of some of these batts .. as you know, not all lithium batteries are rechargeable. None of these refer to being able to be charged, so I must assume they are single-use batts.

Sorry about that Alan. Good catch. They are primary (nonrechargeable) batts.
