Mod - 3.7volt vs. 6volt

Started with a Blu. Wasn't happy with that for too long, although it did get me off cigs. Went to a 510, which is way better, but still not satisfied.

So, after many hours/weeks of reading forum posts and becoming a bit more informed, I'm thinking of upgrading to Pure Smoker, either the Icon or Prodigy. But I need to know the pros & cons of a 3.7 vs. 6 volt mod.

I'm an old great-granny, not at all savvy when it comes to electronics, so please keep your answers simple.... i.e., mods for Dummies. Specifically I'm concerned with flavor and vapor production. TH is not a concern because nothing gives me a TH, not even cigs (40+ years of smoking must have permanently numbed my throat, IDK).

Your help is much appreciated.

I have a tried variety of mods now - classifieds on here has been a great way to try different ones!
Either one of those look good.
As far as voltage goes, it seems like everyone has their opinion.
I only use my Saber touch at the 3.7v, all I did was melt cartridges at 6v. Dripping at 6v was fine, but only
one of my favorite flavors was better at the higher voltage.
I got a Little Sister a couple of weeks ago, and have been happy staying between 4 and 5v.

I've noticed more vapor between different mods and/or PG and VG juice than between voltage.
You'll enjoy your mod. My 510 just stays at the bottom of my purse as a rarely used backup to my
Ego when I'm at work. (I stealth vape there)

depending on the mod you pick...gennerally if it'll hold an 18650 battery for 3.7V...it'll also hold 2 cr123a (protected) for 6V...
after that it gets kinda grey area and personal preference really...

lots of stuff changes the battery life...including the size of the battery you're using and which atty you're going to use..
as for 3.7V versus 6V
in most cases the 6V is going to give warmer vapor and greater vapor production as it provides more heat (wattage)...
sometimes that can be a bad thing though...as some juices (fruits or delicate flavors) can taste burnt or washed out at 6V
atties will also tend to die out quicker at 6V
now with the rising popularity of low resistance attomizers you can get HV like performance using a 3.7V battery though...which eliminates the issues of battery stacking, and has longer battery life....

like I said it also comes down to personal preference at that point
if I were to pick out and buy a new mod at this point I'd opt for either:
the Precise 18650 from superT manufacturing (all mechanical, all stainless, lifetime warranty, does 3.7V with 1 18650 battery or 6V with 2 CR123 batteries)
or
the Ali'i from R&R manufacturing (wood box type mod, same batteries as mentioned before so 3.7V or 6V, and has a bottom fed juice feeder)

Thanks SO much for the info, Drozd! Had no idea there was such a thing as a bottom fed juice feeder. This thing looks fascinating. You've sent me in a whole new direction in my quest for my ultimate PV.

yup...no filling carts or dripping required...so easily 2 days without having to change batteries or refill juice...(given an educated guesstimate of about 30ish hours on the 18650 battery and the idea that most people use 2-3ml of juice a day and the feeder bottle holds 6ml)

Actually, it's EXACTLY 8pm Eastern Time, 5pm on the West Coast.

I ordered yesterday. The site said "Out of Stock" at 4:55. I hit refresh repeatedly, from 4:55 until 5:00 precisely, when the site now displayed an Order button!

By the way, at 5:12, the ordering button was no longer available, and "Out of Stock" reappeared!

If you make sure you're on his site at 5pm (or 8 if you're on the east coast), and know what wood combinations, catch cup color, voltage option, etc. you want, you should be able to order one.
