All i did was use a First aid kit, the kind that had a cheap plastic belt clip on it, when zipped up i can slip a metal carabiner through the metal eyes of the zipper. Voila! carry your batteries and extra's with you, is not a fanny pack, and you like a important EMT type person

Just a idea anyway. I guess the up side of it, is if you have a ego carry case you can now carry just your mods/ego's in it

I have this. My issue would be putting that into a cooler due to moisture, or just leaving it in a hot car for too long

GREAT SCOTT! and i thought my wife was bad!! here is the items in her HK collection: Hat, shirt, PJ's, slippers, Comforter, make up kit, flashlight, fingernail/toe nail glitter, car decals, toaster, hair dryer, water dispenser, earnings, necklace, watch, ring, X2 purses, wireless mouse, printer, doll, car seat cover, steering wheel cover, snacks, and TV.....all this since April 17th 2012.....

then i get the odd look when i say i want to collect some more vape gear and i am not going to argue....for George Carlin said: never upset the supplier of thy's nookie!

If you need to store any electronics in the car, leave the under the seat.

1) out of sight
2) lowest place in the car (heat rises. Note the temperature in the basement versus 2nd floor)
3) out of direct AND indirect sunlight

You will be amazed how much cooler it is there compared to seat, dash, glovebox or trunk

I'd like to add that yesterday, I left my LT and eGo in my car for about 8 hours. It dropped out of my knapsack.
It was very sunny and kinda hot out and the car got pretty hot.
My stuff was in a black eGo case like the one zer0ith shows. It was on the passenger seat. The interior of my car is dark grey leather.
After 8 hours, the seat was very hot but the contents of the eGo case were just slightly above body temp.

I agree with under the seat or in a small Styrofoam ice chest. IMR batteries will take 380F internal temps without exploding from vaping heat. I don't know about Li-ion specs, though.

Out of the sun is the most important consideration. Back when floppy discs were popular computer guys used Styrofoam containers to prevent melting. They still do that for CD and DVD. It works.
