So I called AltSmoke yesterday because I have been wanting a black chrome SB for a while now. He informed me it would be a while until they sell any with the big Richmond VA event coming up. I decided to settle for an Alpha. Well today I see the black chrome SB for sale. What do I do? Order it like a boss...lol Oh well. I'm sure it's money well spent on both mods and accessories. I say the more mods, the merrier.

AltSmoke has been a little weird lately. I got a bad atomizer off them, and they said they'd send me a new one. I had just placed another order and let them know, so they could slip the atomizer in with it (save shipping costs for them). They agreed. After about a week I still hadn't gotten my order, so I emailed and they told me they were out of the juice I'd ordered, and had tried to call me every day since I placed the order (which is BS). I told them to send me a different juice and when the package came, no atomizer.

I really like AltSmoke. I think they have the least-confusing site for n00bs like me, and the first couple of orders I placed were delivered to me in a matter of 2 days. Support is always really responsive. I hope/think this is just a bump in the road for them.

I think things are just crazy over there right now with the event going on and all. Heck, my order was in "processing" status for 26 hours.

Edit: Also, I agree the site is easy to use. I guess the only thing I would change would to add a compatibility chart. I had to call and ask if the Yeti XL Dual coil carto's were ok for the SB and Alpha since they weren't listed on the kit options.

Perhaps someday someone will make a chart/spreadsheet listing mods and compatible atty's, carts, carto, batteries for them. I kn ow things are changing all of the time, but it'd make life much easier. I've seen too many times where the same style batteries work in one mod while the same batteries from a different manufacturer don't work in the same mod.

That brand and Model compatibility chart has some BS in it. Like it claims M401 and 510 are compatible yet they are different diameter, threading and even gender. It also makes no distinction between KR808D-1 and KR808D-2/E9 which are incompatible.

This is the place to drool over mods and the Browse By Feature is very handy
