so right now I'm vaping with a evod twist variable voltage pen that tastes burnt when turned all the way up.. I know I need a new clearomizer that was just to let u know what I currently have. I want something that produces CLOUDS. and won't break. my buddy has a hurricane with two 3.7 volt batteries in it. I want something similar but have no idea what brands to trust or what brands to even look for in the first place. there's a vape shop here and all they sell is egos and evod. I bought the evod battery for 45$ could you guys point me in the direction of a good high voltage apv for a reasonable price. my evod twist just doesn't give me the amount of vapor I need so its time to move to something huge. thanks in advance!!!

VG levels aren't my problem. I just need a stronger pen in general.. I need a bigger hit. still crave a CIG sometime and I'm at 24mg nicotine. thanks for the reply!! and sometimes I cover one of the airflow holes while taking a rip to get a harsher hit.

2 things keep the the coil from burning.. air flow and wick saturation. if your upset that your not making big clouds of vapor and your coil is burning i recommend drilling out 2 of the air hole to 2 mm.

Sorry, but this "cloud chasing" is becoming a bane to our community! There are too many like you, and your friend, that are watching you tube videos and trying to replicate them without knowing, or understanding, the dangers involved!
We do not recommend stacking batteries, like your friends mod, if the batteries are not kept in matched pairs the internal resistance of them isn't the same and one will pull off the other causing thermal run away, leading to a BOOM!
If you try to do sub ohm, like the videos, and don't have an understanding of the batteries you are using, and the load you are putting on said battery, BOOM!
These batteries are full of lots of energy, just waiting to get out, and in the wrong situation, they can and will explode! There are plenty of threads on this subject, it wont take much searching to find lots of information on batteries, ohms law and what it all means. But I digress.

okay.. so he's okay as long as the two batteries he is using are the same? and I don't care what my cloud looks like band I haven't watched YouTube... all I know is my pen is not giving me the vapor I need and I'm tired of this shop ripping me off so I came here for guidance.. I'm gunna go smoke a CIG while my weak ... pen charges..

and i tried to explain what needs to happen but you just don't care... if you want a mod go buy one, you will also need batteries and a charger. its not gotta make your EVOD work any better.

a DVOM is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as well.

NO!!! They need to be kept in matched pairs, labeled, charged and discharged the same way every time, all the time! If not one will build up more internal resistance than the other and draw more power than the other can provide.
This should confuse you good, Basic to Advanced Battery Information from Battery University

I do care.. my friends name is taylor. he lives in Florida. his 7.4v pen puts out the vapor I need. making my airflow holes is not going to help my problem.. I came asking advice on brands and models of a strong mod because I don't even know where to start and can't afford to buy junk....cmon dude...

And we are trying to help keep you, and your friend, from blowing half of your faces off!

biggest bank for the buck, getting your first mod, is going to be the MVP. You might find it for $10 less, but this site has some other interesting stuff, too.
But the big hit is going to depend more on the other part - the coil that you use.
You'll want lower resistance, like 1.8 ohms or less, so your battery can "hit it" hard. But then it needs juice faster...
You'll be looking for something else for your juice/coil - look around here for more info!

I can't find it anywhere... and I'm not driving to Florida.. happydave isn't very happy is he? thank you other guy who suggested the MVP..(can't see or name right now).. all I want is a bigger hit. happydave and yes drilling out the holes would help to achieve that without a burnt taste but they recommended to not even run it above 4v with the clearomizer I have. I thank you all for the time you have spent trying to help me.
