Hi guyS
I would like to ask you what vaporizer should I buy if I smoke around 5 cigarettes per day.
I tried vaporesso Xros but I wasn't very happy. The hit wasn't very strong.
I tried a mod vapo from my friend and it was way too strong for me )
But if I'm not wrong I can completely set up the mashine for my taste? Is it correct? Thank you for your answers!
I'm sorry for my English ;)

Welcome!

I know it might seem a bit of a bind, but the questions our Izan, who really knows what he's talking about, has asked you really do need answers so we can best help you.

It'd also be useful if you could give us a hint for a step as to where in this world you might be so folk could tailor advice.

We don't harvest data, we don't ask questions for the sake of it - we just need help to help ...

If you want total control over your vaping, and you want a light vapor output, you need to get a system which...

- has high resistance coil heads available (1 ohm or higher)
- allows you to adjust the wattage yourself (make sure it can go as low as about 5 watts).

The Innokin Kroma-Z pod system fits this criteria almost 100%. Adjustable to as low as 6 watts and you can buy 1.2 ohm and 1.6 ohm coil heads for it (coils are called Z-Coil). It come switha 0.8 ohm coil and that might be OK for you.

$34.98 Authentic Innokin Kroma-Z 40W 3000mAh VW Pod System Mod Kit - 4.5ml / 0.8ohm/0.3ohm / 6-40W at FastTech - Free Shipping

Hi guys
It looks like a huge support here :thumb:

I used to smoke more than 10 years around 20 cigarettes per day and then I quit for ten years.. And I started once astart in last 3 yearI...I smoked two last years 2 cigarettes per day and last year around 5-7 per day.

I live in Australia

Nicotine 3mg 50VG 50 PG

And what is important tome is system where I don't need buy coils or other stuff (I don't know what else I need to change in all the systems ;) ) very often and these parts shouldn't be very expensive. I'm happy to clean it for prolonging life etc.

Thanks a lot guys !

Cheers mate!
Thanks for the info.

When I vape on a pod (like the Xros) I use 25mg/ml freebase nicotine. The throat hit is still weak, but the nicotine hit is much improved. If you have the option of using 30mg/ml-50mg/ml salt based nicotine in the Xros, you may find greater satisfaction.

My wife is very happy with the innokin sceptre pod system with 10mg/ml freebase nicotine. The coils last for 120+ ml of juice and at less than $€£2 each are a great value. The Carbon MTL version seems to offer the most flexibility for MTL (cigarette like inhaling) to relaxed DTL (direct to lung) inhaling users.

As far as rebuilding, a supply of wire (a spool or three) and a bag of rayon or cotton balls could keep you in supplies for years at a time.

Finding the RDA/RTA/RDTA that fits your vaping style/ life style may require a bit more research.
Do you want something for home use on the sofa or will you be using the device out and about and carried at work?
In general, you would need to purchase the battery/power device for the "topper" you chose above.
Some have built-in batteries, some take removable, externally rechargeable batteries and come in a myriad of sizes, shapes and capacities. The unit, the charger and the batteries all add to the initial expense.

Do you have a vape shop local to you?
What is your budget?

Cheers

To get started, just get a simple (refillable) pod or AIO (all in one) device. You will need to get a bottle of juice to refill but this is much cheaper than replacing non-refillable pods. Some have a coil you can replace... others you just replace the pod (with built-in coil) Innokin is a good brand with many device options. I have the Kroma Z and love it (built-in battery that lasts a long time and replacable coils... the very common and popular Z coils with many options for different ohms) At first, it seems expensive to get started, but doesn't cost much after that. It's important to choose an e-liquid you like. What flavors do you think you would like? 3 mg/ml nic might not be enough for you but I also think some of really high strengths suggested are too much (that would be for more heavy smoker) I smoked a pack a day and started with 18 mg. Got down to 5 smokes a day and used 12 mg. Local vape shops tend to suggest large "cloud chucker" devices... not good for your first device. Take some time and let us help you choose.

Best of all, you'll get free of the cigarettes
Yes mate I wish :D:D

I forgot to tell you I had a short breath after the vaporizer (I read on the web it could be that I stopped with cigarettes or in the ratio in vape liquids and they saidit should be gone after a while .. but I don't know ...) Did you have a similar experience when you started with e-cigarettes?

I watched some youtube videos and I'm thinking to buy a RTA vape where I can made my own coils.. It gonna be fun
I would like to buy some vape where could I set up how strong is the hit from quite low level because I tried to smoke from a really huge machine from my friend and it was tooooo strong ...

Do you have a vape shop local to you?
Yes I do

What is your budget?
$100

Thank you guys :thumb:

I read your original post wrong, I thought you said the output on the XROS was too strong. But I see now that you said it wasn't strong enough for you.

So my suggestion is still a Kroma-Z. It's good for higher wattage. I only suggested it at first because it can go down to a lower wattage, but it can produce a stronger vape than your XROS becuase it also goes much higher in wattage than the XROS and therefore a better, stronger vape.

I do not suggest an RTA and a mod right now.

Why do you think the RTA is not good now?

Because rebuildables are a more advanced level of vaping. You need to understand vaping first, then get into rebuildables later.

If you want to buy a device that you can use an RTA later without buying extra parts, then Buy an Innokin Kroma-R mod instead then buy an Innokin Zlide tank to go with it (you can find these in a kit together as well. That Zlide tank takes the same coils as the Kroma-Z mod system.
