Yeah, he is crazy. Even more so if you understand the German: "So, if you don't know what to do with these extra parts, you can easily built an A2-like atomizer". Yeah, right.
But I like him very much, a very helpful guy, invented a few ways to wick-and-wire the Ody, too.
Oh, and the wick he uses is "Ortmann" - a brand that's often used by German vapers. It's a bit fiddly and doesn't take well to heat and dryburning.
If you need parts translated, just ask, I'll do my best.

The first vid, while being ingenuitive, I see no point to?
Just a more complicated, less efficient version of what Imeo has already given us for drip mode.
The second and third vid is again ingenuitive, and I see a method to his madness, but it is nothing more than a cartomizer.
It is not really need because you still have the option of the small and big mode Ody, which is IMO superior.
I say these things not to ridicule, but only as an observation on my part.
I mean not to offend, but more so mean as a " why try to build a better mousetrap?" type of thing

Yes, thats true - but the parts for this mod were just laying around in his drawers, so he "quickly built that thing". He's the mad scientist type, in a very nice sense.
Plus, we can not really just buy "another ceramic fixture and a connector post" here - I never saw them for sale at the vendors available to us, I've been looking =)
