I saw a thread where somebody poked a hole in one of the condom covers for a carto and used it for fast filling. I tried it and liked it however I didn't like the hacked hole. So I found a pen with a metal end and a nice sized hole and disassembled. It is the perfect thing to make a nice round hole. Now I just leave the condom on the end and I am using a carto until it doesnt vape well or dies (RIP). I am on day four with the same cart and it is still vaping like new.

I've been using the uncapped carto/condom thing for awhile, but the hole I hacked in it looked hideous
...I was embarrassed to pick it up, even though no one else ever sees it.
Interesting idea. Just be sure that you leave enough condoms intact for traveling with/storing cartos that have juice in them. As long as you don't throw away condoms when your cartos die and don't get too pen happy, you should be fine. 
I just did a few. I save them all. I guess I am a condom hoarder...... Hehehe

ok. this thread just gave me a great idea and it WORKS. dont kwow if anyone else has had this problem but when i use my PT i use the condom trick because i top off alot. well when i do this i sometimes get juice in my mouth, so after reading the above post i took a regular Bic ball point pen, took out the ink tube, cut about 1 1/2- 2 cm off the clear end (part with no ink) and stuck it in the condom hole so that it protrudes mostly inwards. now when i vape i get good suction and all the excess juice puddles n the condom, ready to be dripped back in the carto.

Maybe I missed something? If you want an easily removed mouthpiece for dripping or whatever, just get one of the flexible 801 carts. I like the flexible whistle tip. Remove the wicking material holder cup. It just pulls right out. Put the mouth piece on over the carto. It's a little tight the first time or two but loosens up and works out quite well for dripping or topping off. I use it on my HV Xhaler for frequent topping off and on my KR8 with an auto batt, cause it is more comfortable to me to hold in my teeth while driving, etc.
I also use the mouthpiece from a 901 on my V4L cartos. I just take the batting out of the mouthpiece first and use a heated needle to widen the air hole on top of it. Then I remove the cap and rubber ring from the carto, pop on the mouthpiece and vape away... makes refilling the carto a breeze and is more comfortable to hold in my mouth.
I did try the pen/condom thing out of curiosity. I used a retractable metal pen so that I did not have to take it apart, just retracted the tip. The pen perfectly created a hole, but my aim was off so I had to overlap the 1st hole and take out a half moon to center it more... just for aesthetics, LOL. The I rotated the pen tip back up and the small condom pieces popped right out... seems easier than dissembling a pen. Vaping with it is fine, although a bit more of a mouthful, and it gives your teeth something to grip on to as well as protects your lips if the carto should become too warm. Although I'll use it from time to time just for a change of pace, I think I still like my 901 mouthpiece better.

Just read this thread, and immediatly grabbed one of the plastic ballpoints on my desk (got no metal ones) made sure the tip was in, and jamnbed it against the laminated table top through a silicone end cap (i have a small pile of them here). Ground it against the desk a little, and voila, I now have a quick easy cap for the carto I have on my PT here, which I'd been tailpiping (no cover at all) Now I don't have to worry so much about the occasional hot dot (not sure what to call it. it's like a microscopic drop that sometimes shoots out (particularly right after I top off) and burns where it hits for a split millisecond)

Just a general observation: as a fair amount of force is required to punch a hole through the carto, choose your surface wisely. It may matter less with a plastic pen, but I could see soft wood being damaged. I did mine on my stove.
I tried 801 and 901 tips. I prefer the condom method because it seems like I get way less juice in my mouth. I can see any droplets and clear them right away. I also didnt want to add length to the cart with a tip. I have a PCC case and fiddling with the 801 or 901 was a PITA for me when charging.
No camera here, but you've gotta have a ton of spare silicone endcaps, and some sort of retractable ballpoint pen or similar, give it a go, if you mess up it's no big deal
I don't understand how it's done. So I retract the ball-point pentip. Then what? Press the point of the pen against the condom? What's cutting the condom?
im a bit conflustered over this too imposter...if anyone has a pic or two or a detailed instruction for dummies(like me) id love to hear bout it....
