I can't figure out what to use to make a removable plug for the fill hole on the ZAP. I was thinking maybe a small plastic piece with a flat head that would fit in there but then I wondered if it would be safe? I came to the conclusion that maybe not. So, here I am asking youze guys for some advice. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a stiffer draw?

if you want a stiffer draw thats fine...but you will cut vapor production and overall performance considerably. take a needle(forget what size) cut it and glue it in hole, there you go instant stiff draw. and trust me on this you will hate that you did that. zen used to make the stiff draw cap, he discontinued it cause everyone returned them saying they like the normal draw better. i know most people are used to sucking hard cause of crappy china products, with a zen you just let it come into your mouth, like you would a cigar. just like any other product, learn to use it and it will be bliss

now on fill plug...only plug it when traveling, do not plug it when using. it will affect wicking. on the supplied wicks it may be alright(these suck btw) as it isn't true wicking, more like draining, air may be able to escape into the tank. i use solid wicks so if i plugged the hole there is nowhere for the air to go, thus shutting off wicking completely due to pressure reasons

Point taken. Could you link me in the right direction for solid wicks? I'm still using the supplied wicks and wire. I'd like a little higher resistance but all the rba talk is a bit greek to me. I'm terrible at math and electronics lol.

pick a post in modding forum or rba forum...there are hundreds. it is crazy simple. i cant give you the measurements as i don't measure it anymore

i cut quite a large piece(again sorry for no measurements) torch it with a torch while flat till it is all black. roll it tight(no center hole) so it will fit in tank. torch the whole wick again while rolled, shove in tank and wrap coils. adjust for spots, fill and vape.

it takes a bit of practice the first few times, but after a while you can make a wick, wrap it, and vape it in under 2 minutes

there have been mixed results on the 625.....personally not worth the money...i use 400 but want some 500(too bad i have a 10 years supply of 400, a foot section will last me forever. a wick lasts me 6+ months). there have been tests done and the wicking seems to peak with the 500 and starts going downhill from there

Did you find a solution to your desire for a tighter draw?

My first ZAP's tank came with a cap that wasn't completely drilled through. There's a slight obstruction on the inside of the cap. It results in a tighter draw.

I never new that it was out of spec until I received my new ZAP last week. It's cap's draw hole is completely drilled through. I like the easier draw. I've been considering drilling first one out to spec or returning it.

I'd gladly trade you caps if you'd be up for that.
