Hey everyone!

I am not the best modder in the world. I have *many* failed projects in my closet. So I could really use some guidance from all of you with natural talent to mod really well.

I just love my VV gripper. I have been through 4 of them though due to accidentally dropping them and breaking the battery door. But I keep buying more of them because I just love the way they vape. To me, nothing else does it as good for me as the gripper. (Sorry to my provari, REO, silver bullet, billet box, and MVP that are all collecting dust in my closet). I bought a Trixie, and it is PERFECT! I have 6 grippers that aren't used, NIB, and I would like to mod them similar to the Trixie.

I was thinking about making it with a recessed tank on the inside rather than the outside. Obviously buy new switches that are higher rated. What are your thoughts? Do you think this is possible?

Just bouncing ideas, let me know what all of you think. :)

Nope, nothing is cemented into the gripper. Everything pops out easily. I have "transplanted" one set of gripper guts to an Altoids tin. It isn't pretty, but it works really good! Original innards from my very first gripper bought over a year ago, and it works like a champ.

Thanks for the reassurance. It is hard because I really want to have fun making different mods, my skill level just isn't as good as my mental images of what I want. :)

Ain't that the Gospel, I was looking at this mod yesterday going "well that's not at all going to work even close to how I envisioned" back to the drawing board

Awww, I am glad I am not alone! But feel bad you have the same problem friend. :( I have these grandiose images of this pretty and smooth mod, and I wind up with a wad of hot glue and electrical tape. And ginormous globs of solder that looks like a metal foundry just dumped sludge in a box. Looks like something my 4 year old niece would do for arts and crafts at pre-school. :(
