I finally got to order a wood box Trixie by Madvapes. Got one in walnut. Pretty excited because the way I'm understanding it, this VV APV addresses all the problems and issues that the Gripper body had (and fixes them) but has the innards of the Gripper...all in an attractive wood box, with a recessed connector that is well suited to tanks or clearos. No VW, but I honestly do not care about that. I liked the way the plastic Smok Gripper worked and I love the box form....but was not happy about the plastic casing, flimsy battery door, the loose 510 connection and the fragility of the buttons. I also have been wanting a box type mod where my tank wouldn't have to perch on top up high. I looked at the Billet Box because it had the recessed tank thing...but the price stopped me and there were a few other issues that bothered me. The Trixie: Search results for: 'Trixie Mode'
Anyway...anyone else here got a Trixie? They certainly sell out quick enough. I got an email they were in stock yesterday morning (in the color I wanted!) That was early morning, I clicked through right then and there were only 3 left. I got one...someone else got the next one while I was filling out my order form, and within the hour the last one was gone. So I know people ARE buying them...and they are getting good reviews at MV.
