I'm trying to help someone get started in the ecig world-- she was previously pulled in to one of those free trials from this company: E-Cigs: Electronic Cigarette: E-Cigarette Kits, Accessories & Nicotine Refill Cartridges Does anyone here know what model these are?

They charge $80 for a set of 10 carto's that are sent to her on a subscription basis. I thought it'd be best to make it so she could keep using her battery and charger, and just buy the cartos/juice from elsewhere. But I'm an 808 user and I can't easily recognize the model number. It has male threading on the carto, female threading on the battery, but otherwise looks the same as an 808 auto. I guessed it was probably a 510? anyone know for sure?

The brand name is so generic that I can't pull up any information on a search-- looking information on "ecigs model" just pulls up everything under the sun.

From what you've said, it sounds like they could be a 4081 model like Njoy. Njoy is sold in a lot of convenience stores and such so you might have her pick up a pack of cartos and see if they fit. Granted, it's a waste if they don't, but if they do at least you'll know the model.

The 4081s originally were a 3pc unit with an atomizer and cartridge setup which is easily refillable. However, their cartomizers (although not the best quality) can still be refilled with the condom method. A Great Way To Fill Cartomizers - YouTube

Egads! 80 bucks for 10 cartomizers.

There aren't many pictures of actual products on the site, just renderings. Most likely it's an RN-4081 or possibly a KR-808. For the record, their starter kit (a bargain at $60!) looks almost exactly like the $5 kit I bought direct from China once :) I did a review of it mostly to amuse myself, I don't really recommend the $5 version either :) e-Cigarette Review: What can 5 dollars get you

I know, right? When she told me it was a subscription service, I thought it'd be something crazy like $40 for 10, not $80!

It's definitely not a kr808, that's what I have. From what you folks are saying it sounds like it might be best to just have her start over with a new model. If the carto's and bats are low quality I don't see the point in having her reinvest in more supplies when I can get her an 808 or 510 for cheap. She liked the draw on mine a lot better anyway. And afterall, if she's spending $80 a month, I can get her a full set up for that price.

If you're going to change to a different model and she likes the slim ecig style, I'd recommend going for the Volt by Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette

I've used a lot of different mods and setups, but I was really impressed with this little ecig. The performance rivals some of my bigger units. The battery life with it is still an issue, but I'm getting 2 1/2 to 3 hrs on the 78mm manual battery on heavy vaping. They also now have fat batts available for the 808. You can get the cartos prefilled or blank which is nice and they are horizontal bottom coils and work really well compared to the standard 808 vertical coil cartos.

If she needs more battery life, I'd check into the 510 threaded ego type options for flexibility, but if you both use 808's you can have plenty of spares for both of you.
