I got an Aris recently:

It's got a snorkel type airflow; and only when I got it did I realize that it has a real deep juice well

That looks really nice. I'm guessing the air is taken in at the base and comes out of the center gold tube to hit both coils side on? Designed for dual coils mostly?
Any AFC?
As you say, deep juice well indeed.

Do you know what the diameter of that tubing was? I'd really like to try the ducting idea on mine, I run in dedicated single coil (with no AFC ring to open it up a bit more) but I want just a little more oomph to it!

I have some of that tube left if you like. I'm away for a week but could send you a bit when I return. You'd have to be able to drill out to 2.4mm. Tube OD is 2.39mm.
Not too hard to bend into shape with care, I managed but you could fill with fine dry sand before bending, I didn't have any, don't know with a small dia tube though. Or a wire of the correct OD.

PM me if you want some.

Yes; pic below shows 1 of the 2 entry airholes.

On the deck you see 3 electrical posts with screws in them:
- the 1 positive post on the right
- two negative posts on the left.

The thing in the middle that does not have a screw at the top is the air hole

===oh===
the one I have has a black airflow ring- pita to see the black airhole in a black airflow ring; i guess they've fixed that problem with the white airflow rings.

Have you tried running it with just a single coil?? Im not really a dual coil guy but the Aris looks neat and I just saw 101 Vape has the Tobeco version for like $8!!

I did run it single coil for my first few days; worked ok;
still experimenting; today I just added some wick around the inside of the glass; the glass tends to get condensation, so by adding wicking around the inside now, think I might get a better visual indicator or how wet the wicking is.

I did wonder about condense.
You know in the old day's we used to wipe a potato cut in half on the windows of our caravan to stop em steaming up. It stopped the steaming up right enough but you ended up with a puddle of water on the window ledge! :laugh:
Wonder if it would work in that dripper, very much doubt it but might be worth a try, potato flavoured vape though? Not sure if you'd taste it.

Oh just thought though, I'm wondering if over time it might mark the glass. ...... I have used the old potato trick on some of my knives to add that aged the steel look. So what it would do to the glass with the addition of heat I don't know. ... Ok daft idea, cancel that one may be! :oops:

On a more serious note, wouldn't be much hassle blocking off one of the air intakes or the outlet on one side. Depending on the atty, I'm double or single coil.

If you hold the aris rda up to a light to look throught the air intakes, you'll see that the light goes right through, so there's no benefit to blocking one intake.
The outlet is 1 hole straight through, so if you could block the hole on one side that's feasible; best would be a suitable screw I suppose.
I did't block it; worked ok; I did try blocking with some cotton but I felt it was kind of stifling.
