So I ordered an mvp 2.0 expecting to get a cheap mod that would give me a good feel for how they are. Instead, I received an mvp 1.0. $50 down the toilet as it does the same things my ego twist can. Aside from that, where is a place that I can get a mod that has an ohms checker, vw, vv, all that good stuff. Or if any of you have some spares laying around I would surely love to buy them off you! Thanks, Josh.

If you wanted to stick with MVP the version 2 does do what you want.

If you can find them in stock at 101 vape that may still be the cheapest Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape

Better at keeping them in stock is a few ebay sellers Itaste MVP 2 0 ICLEAR30 ICLEAR16 Kit Newest Version from Innokin Free Shipping | eBay

But if you want the same funcitons with the ego size the innokin VV version3 has the same features. 101 vape has those pretty cheap Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

as does desert vapes Joye eGo Rechargeable Batteries

Can you tell I was just pricing those a few weeks ago. All the mod functions without having to buy batteries and chargers.

ETA - if you go with VV be sure to get the ones with ego threading since I hear the 510 only is horrible.

Bad news. You should return it to the vendor. There are lots of good mods under $50 but you will need to buy replaceable batteries and a charger. Sigelei Zmax V3 or V5 would be a good pick.

Mods

They do not accept returns and opening a dispute just doesn't seem worth the trouble.

: Version 1 rocks dude. Bite your tongue for that blasphemous comparison. VW is not necessary. Go pick up a cheap multimeter and enjoy a great device.

I have a multimeter and I like the vw. When I use my friends vamo v5 with the vw it seems to produce much more vapor than my mvp. My mvp turned up passed 4.5 volts gets a burnt taste where as the vamo can be in 15 watts with no burning. I don't really understand the difference between the 2 but in my experience vw is better than vv.

Vw and vv are just two different ways of saying the same thing man. The difference is in your head.

Exactly this. At the end of the day (or out the end of your mod, and into your topper) it is voltage. The VW mods just do the calculation for you on how much voltage to send to the device that screws on to the top of your mod. I agree that having this done automatically for you is convenient since you don't have to calculate it, or pull up and app on your smart phone to calculate it for you, but there is no difference in vape between a mod calculating the voltage from a VW setting and you putting the appropriate voltage in. Get a smartphone app to do this for you if you don't have a calculator handy or don't want to memorize the ohms law calcs.

If you really want you can still find out what your vaping at in terms of Wattage with this tool right here. Pull out your handy dandy Multimeter and find out the resistance of your atomizer. Put the red wire in the middle of it and the black wire on the edge of the bottom.

Input what voltage your vaping at on the site and the resistance of the atomizer. Boom- now you have variable wattage too!

Probelm solved.
