I've been considering buying a "mod" of some sort. I have 510 batteries and attys. Even if it's not 510 compatible, I'll be interested.

What kind of MODS are available for 510 threads? I'm kinda iffy about juice box mods since they're a bit bulky, but if there is a small, small one, I'd be interested?

What kind of MODS have built in attys and batts, if that exists?

I hear about different MODS here a lot, but I still don't know the half of what is going on  :vapor:

Thank you in advance for the input!

What are you most wanting to achieve with a mod?
What kind of budget?

Getting one to work with your 510 stuff is pretty easy. Even if you fancy one with some other native connection it's not difficult to screw on an adapter.

Check out this site and come back with any questions you might have.
Be sure to look at both the tubes and boxes.

The REO Mini is very small, yet it contains a 3ml bottle for your juice. It will use the 510 atty with no problems. They are made of aircraft grade aluminum and are very sturdy. Not heavy at all and fit right in your palm. If you want both the ability to have lots of juice and a long lasting battery with you, the REO Mini might just be the one for you!

This is an excerpt from a post I made in another thread. I got a couple likes for it. So, I guess it's pretty good. It tells you what you can get and what you need to consider anyway.

In general mods provide one or more of the following:

More vapor, throat hit, and warmth.
More juice capacity.
A way to deliver juice with no filler.
Longer battery life.
Generic batteries that usually have longer life and are cheaper to replace.

What mods don't provide is looks like a cigarette. Some of them look like they fell off a UFO.

In the above list, what's important to you? The next question is how much are you willing to spend? The Monkey Boxx AG mentions above is a great device but, it's over $200. Is that out of your range?

The last question is are you willing to wait to get exactly what you want? Many of these devices are hand made by an individual in relatively small batches. You might have to wait a bit to get what you want.

Thank you everyone for answering! I am going to do some research to see what would fit me the best.

Maybe this will help narrow things down:

I think the most important thing for me is that I need something that won't just all of a sudden not work if I'm stressed, like my 510s sometimes do. I just need to be able to sit back and vape.

Money is also a concern, but I am a saver, so if it's worth the money, I'll look into it.

And as I said before, size matters. (Hahaha, yes I said that lol I feel like I'm a teenager still at times )

My 510s give me loads of flavor and throat hit, so I am not worried about that, but the whole voltage changing about MODs is both intriguing and intimidating for me. I'm afraid I'll burn out an atty in a week.

Thank you again for all of the help!!

EDIT: I forgot to explain how I want my vapor to be like. I did not enjoy BOGE 510 cartos. I don't like the "airy" pull on them. I really like a tighter? pull I guess? I tend to fill my attys a teeny bit much just for a good pull to it. I just need something that won't be as much of a hassle as I deal with now.

That's a REO. It makes vaping easier than smoking :) The Mini is pretty tiny. Here is a pic of the Mini and Grand with a standard business card. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...urements-parts-terminology-8.html#post3092444 They will be available tomorrow at 7:00 pm

That is awesome, now I can visualize it better. I just don't want my parents to think I'm about to detonate something off

Again, this forum is amazing. I'm seriously interested in the REO.

On the other hand, someone in a thread (for the life of me I can't remember which one) talked about the ProVari. I like it because of the size, but I'm still confused about it. How does the ProVari work exactly? And with the REO Mini, where does the atty go? Lol sorry, I'm just like O_O with all of the MOD stuff. :vapor:

The button is on top next to the atomizer. It looks like an AA battery but, it's not. It's a 14500 lithium ion battery. It's 3.7 V not 1.5. The Reo is a great mod and I won't discourage you from getting one but, mlinky is pretty Reo happy and a little prone to exaggeration. :)

You'll still have a learnign curve with it.

MR already told you about the button/atty placement. The big difference is that a Provari is variable voltage, that means you can adjust the voltage to give you the best possible combination with a particular atomizer and juice. It does require add-ons or cartomizers for juice delivery. The REO Mini uses a 3.7v battery, so you have to adjust your vape by using differently rated atomizers, but the juice delivery system is extraordinarily neat, easy and convenient. It comes down to whether precision control or ease of juicing is more important to you.

Okay, thank you very much! :D :vapor: This looks like a very cool PV indeed! :vapor:

I think ease of juice is what I'm looking for because although my 150 carts hold up well for me, it can get a bit messy. The ProVari though looks pretty cool, and its size is definitely a key factor with me. The choices!
