Six, I was thinking about that earlier today. It would be great if MV would make a dual 18650 VV box mod. The 14500 are ok but lack stamina at 900mAh. I got all the parts to make a VV box mod months ago but never got around to building it. Now I'm thinking that I should do one with the 18650's and a voltage meter. I just need to figure out which project box would be the right size so that it's not too clunky.

Glad you guys like the VV boxes :)

I've been waiting for this same bigger battery solution also and we've been working with an injection moulding company to make an 18650 battery box for us that's similar to a 2xAA box but has an addiional smaller slot for parts. Can't wait to get them but it still looks to be 2-3 months out :( But they'll be cool as hell when they get here :)

I have a bunch of expensive mods from other vendors but most of the time I use my red 5v box that I got here for 30 bucks. I have the VV as well but oddly I got into the habit of setting it on 5v and leaving it there. Now I have just gone back to my 5v mod and use my vv when I want some black in my life.

My vv isn't flat on the bottom and falls on its face most of the time when sat upright so that's another reason I prefer my 5v box a bit more.

Is the vv box from Madvapes going to fluctuate under load? I've been looking at the TTTeliquids VMU box, but it seems a bit steep for a box mod, even though it does have some nice features... I don't mind, for $35, putting a meter on each time I change voltage, but I don't want something that will drop voltage to a large degree when under load.

It does not. Under load my madvapes vv box drops .03 Volt, with a 1.5 Ohm dual coil on it, measured with the madvapes voltage meter. 3/100 of a volt is just nothing.
