Just curious... I got eGo-v which I consider it as reg, and eVic as mod.

I haven't tried eVic yet but besides all of those features, does it really make vaping better?

isnt it just the battery?

someone posted down there said the mods (he meant the battery since he bought Tesla) makes whole vaping way better... or he meant by psychologicaly..

Welcome , but more available voltage or wattage , allows you to taylor your vape the way you like it . So yes , it makes it better . And by the way , an Evic is just a PV , not a mod ( modified ) JFYI There are a lot of people that enjoy having the option of setting their devices to either voltage , or wattage . Then there are others who prefer using mechanical devices , and RBA's . To each his own .

thanks. I find this place as ecig holy trail. Like I learn more and more as day passes by. lol

but eVic also let you edit the wattage and ohms...no?
It does have variable wattage and an ohm reader. Another benefit of many mods is that you can check remaining battery life. If your current eGo is variable voltage, it'd function the same as the eVic would on the VV setting. Variable voltage does improve the vape because you can adjust it to your preference. Since you already have a variable voltage eGo but aren't satisfied with your vape, focus on getting a better tank. This will make a much greater difference than upgrading to a mod.

You already have a variable voltage device and still not satisfied with the vape. May I ask what kind of delivery system do you have? You may need to change your delivery device. There are a bunch of options out there. To each his own.

i knew the eVic is more like spin-off product from eGo V.
But has more functions and looks better. Looks bit futuristic or kiddish somewhat but fact that it has longer battery life and the eGo i have is knock-off. Not very polished like those branded products.

and of course, I am super noob at this Vaping scene so by going straight to eVic would set me up until some revolutionary method of vaping comes out later. :)

If you definitely want to upgrade from your eGo, look around a little. Maybe check out a B&M store if there's one close to you and see what they carry. You may still choose the evic, but you could probably find a less expensive mod that will perform better.
Also, battery life won't necessarily be much longer with mods. As you turn up voltage/wattage the battery drains more quickly.

I get two full days on a 2250mAh 18650 in a Vamo and still shows 3.6v. I would be lucky to get two days on a 1300mAh Ego. Although, I was also vaping the eGo more since it was lacking "power".

i see where you coming from.

but since I got eVic for 65 bux brand new sealed, I figured it is better off just using it.

and I absolutely LOVE it now. :D

the grip is fantastic and the multi info display is just so cool.

and I heard by being upgraded in firmware, it gets features that it never had before the upgrade.

Yeah. I like gadgets and I think this will set me up for good.
