Mods powered up continuously?

I don't power down my various mods unless for long term storage of mods with non-removable batteries or if carried in a pocket I will sometimes power down.

If I'm going to pick the mod right back up the next day, the mod isn't powered down overnight.

What say ye? Is it a personal preference or is there a caution or consideration I'm overlooking?

I don't either. Sometimes I do turn it off overnight just to confuse my mvp But really though I almost never turn my battery off.

Modern electronic devices with built-in batteries are never truly "off." I don't imagine there's much difference between "not powered up all night because the button is disabled" and "not powered up all night because you didn't press the button anyway."

Many newer mods go to sleep anyway. Running on micro volts current takes forever to drain.

No need to power off unless its going away for a long time. Evolv Dna powered devices with built in batteries never turn off because you cannot turn them off. They do go to sleep though.

I never turn my mods off, just don't see the point. Heck my home server is only turned off for updates and when the power go outs.

Don't find a need to turn off my mods as most of them get in some form of rotation.

All my built in battery mods can't be powered down anyway being dna200s. For ones that I'm going to shelve for a while I just remove tha batteries.

why put extra wear and tear on the button??
