Mods vs fat batteries

I've been using Riva 901's with Bloog cartomizers.
I'm eying a GLV super mini to replace the Riva's, but here's my question.
If I use the GLV with my Bloog cartomizers will I get any improvement over what I'm using now?
Aside from the esthetic appeal, would it vape any better than what I have?
I can buy five Riva 901's for the same cost of the GLV, so I need some ammo to justify this to my wife.
She doesn't vape or smoke and thinks both the Riva and the GLV look nuts. Thanks!

the RIVA's and EGO's run at a 3.3volts.. but the GLV will run off batteries that will come off the charger at 4.2volts, which will give you a true 3.7volts. so your vapes will be warmer and may produce more vapor, or it might burn your carto depending on what the bloog cartomizers resistance is at (i'm not sure). i'm pretty sure it'll do the former rather than latter

IMO, if you're moving to a true mod, you should move up to better cartomizers too.. it's only fitting imo to get the best out of the device you're using. I never hear anything negative and only positives about the dual coil cartomizers (they're all manufactured by the same company no matter where u get em from) and BOGE cartomizers.

The mini is going to be about the same voltage as you're getting out of your Riva so the performance difference will be unremarkable. The GLV2 5 volt, on the other hand, will make a HUGE difference.

Ummmm... my Riva batts meter at 4.2V fresh off the charger. It doesn't last very long but they do charge to the same level.

actually i think some RIVA's come off at a true 3.7 volts.. not sure which kinds though. should look it up

my mistake. see above post. but i believe underload, the RIVA's/EGOs are lower

Yes, the GLV will be an improvement over the Riva. Warmer vapor, more flavor, and TH. The mini is a true 3.7V and that .5V is quite a difference when it comes to vaping.

The Riva SE come off the charger at 4.2 V, and then slowly go down. The other Rivas are 3.7 ish.

The GLV2 super mini still has a coolness factor that the Riva's don't.
I may still buy it even through it's hard to justify logically....
