Hmm since this thread seemed to go to where you're keeping your ecig I want to tell you what I do. My handbag/purse/whateveryoucallit has some nice small pockets for juice and extra parts, but I don't like keeping my e-cig I'm using there. Where I keep it is with my hairband, either on my wrist or in my hair. So it'll either be with my hand all the time or in a japanese style, I'll grab it from my hair and vape!

Edit: that's with a DSE901
Glad that works for you Poldara. I tried that and dropped a 510 2x on a concrete floor. Work requires me to move around too much and my hair is too slick for that to work for me. Can't wear it around my neck either, be in the way at work. What I want is a "skin" with a clip like my mp3 has so I can clip it to my waistband. Women's pants don't always have pockets and some if they do are so shallow they are useless.

I have never figured out which mod goes with which atty.. I use 801 atties.. I often wonder if you just need a heating element if converting a sodiering iron would work.. lol.. maybe be too powerful but I think the concept is there.... I am really happy that I started collecting pass throughs, they seem to last forever still using my first which is for a Janty kiss box ..

ACK! Now I'm more confused!!!...lol

I wanted to get a mod, simply for the length of time I could use it. I've got extra batts, but I can pass most of them on to my son, and keep a few for "out and about".

Help a twit figure this all out...as usual I'm on info overload and can't make head's nor tails of all of this!

Just a few questions:

Is the real big diff between the voltage the throat hit?

How about the flavor difference? Much? Any?

I have a 501 and 25 attys for it, but it borders on over powering. What sort of effects do the mods (lower and higher voltage) have on this model?

Maybe I'll get this sorted out and decide what to order. Like most I want a light weight model.

HELP!

If you want lightweight and the 510 the VP1 or VP2 are good. The power is pretty much the same (throat hit-wise and flavor-wise) as the factory batteries, they just last way way way longer. I used my VP2 last night for over 6 hours and it was still going when I switched batteries because I try to never run them down all the way, since that is bad for Li-Ion batteries. I got the VP2 because it uses protected batteries. The ring of LEDs are very pretty, and the unit works like a dream. (can be used with the 801, or you can get 901 or 510 adapters--I have the 510 adapter)

For high voltage I have the Adaptever. I use it at 3.7v which is the same power level as the factory batteries. I also use it with the high voltage sleeve to use 6v. That gives a stronger hit if you draw for the same amount of time as you do on the factory batteries, or if you want the same hit that takes a 6 second draw on the factory ones it only takes 2 secs on the 6v. It is better for me when I want to take a few puffs and set it down for 30 mins. It also works better for the strong, heavy flavors than it does for the light fruity tastes. The Adaptever is heavier, but it is comfortable to hold and is very sturdy. Can be ordered to fit 801, 901, or 510 and you can get adapters to switch out if you have more than one kind of atty.

Both are great and I use whichever suits my needs at the time.

I don't have a Chuck yet but I really really want one. I'm really happy with the mods I have, but the Chuck is just sweet looking and the idea of being able to pick the color and design on it appeals to me. My mom promised me $100 if I quit smoking for 6 months, so my plan is to spend that on the Chuck. Dec 24th is my 6 month quit date so I'll be able to give myself a Christmas present :).
