In early December when my girlfriend told me 1. not to buy any e-cig hardware and 2. she bought my Christmas gifts online; I was nearly 100% sure I was getting the maxi roughstack I put on my list. Turns out the only e-cig thing she got me was a drip tip.

So I have been holding off all month from moving into HV for apparently no reason. :(

Anyway. I took a second look at the maxi roughstack and I'm kinda sorta glad she didn't get it afterall. I'm sure I would have been thrilled getting it if it had been under the tree Christmas morning. But one of the reasons I put it on my list to begin with was because it's one of the cheaper mods out there. But now that I've waited so long and I'll be spending my own money, I'm eyeing something a little fancier. Something like a Silver Bullet. But I'm interested to hear what else is out there that is similar.

So can anyone recommend me any other 3.7-6v mods that have a nice big comfortable button and a shiny smooth exterior for under $90? I'm not interested in plunger style or pinky button mods. They just seem uncomfortable and awkward to use. Nor am I interested in box mods at all. I just don't like they way they look. If I'm going to spend some money on a mod I want it made of metal and be able to double as a light saber. lol :)

Any suggestions?

Oh, hell yeah. The Indulgence. With the extended battery cup (for 6v), it actually does look kinda like a lightsaber, lol. I called and asked about the switch before I ordered (I'd just had an ego switch failure). "Honestly," he said, "I did have one fail... but that was after 9 months of heavy use by a roughneck working in the oilfields every day."

Here's where I got mine, though you might find it for less elsewhere...

The Indulgence

Very well built switch section... and the connector section unscrews and allows you to swap out threading types. It comes standard with 4 threading adapters for the most common types.

edit... I should warn you, the charger that came with it is crap. But if you're going to get into mods, check out Dealextreme for batteries and chargers on the cheap.... You'll want more batts and chargers anyway.

Ya dissin my Roughstack?!! Just kidding. I really like mine. The thumb button is convenient, it's well made, and it works right every time for days, weeks, months on end. Those 18650 batt's last a long, long time, and it'll go to 6v or 7.4v if you really want it to. And, it's cheap. But it is kinda the ugly duckling isn't it?

Saber Touch. I have a purple 3.7/6v, and I love it at 6v with a SR Joye 510 atty and Super T drip tip. Haven't ordered the batteries to try it at 3.7. I just got my black mini ST, now I am very impatiently waiting for the batteries to arrive. Sir Lawrence has phenomenal customer service, too. He does have sales, I ordered the mini before Christmas and it was less than $90.

Good luck finding your perfect mod, this was my first, and I really don't think I'll be looking for anything else any time soon.

Stay clear of the Indulgence. Cheaper that the Rough Stack (quality wise). Have it and it's sitting in my draw.
