The Bart is my favorite mod and most consistent with creating vapor and enhancing taste. The 14500 battery lasts me, depending on use of course, from 7 hours to a day and a half. I also have the Protege and Chameleon and Janty Sticks.

One of the major advantages, imo, is that the Bartleby has an internal charger - no extra charger needed - comes with two batts, the charging cord doubles as a passthrough and I use that at home and in the car so when I disconnect I have full and high peak charge (@4.2v) for hours. It also has an on/off switch for carrying and you should use it when carrying. I like the box mod style - fits in palm completely - short as Janty Stick and it makes cartomizers an option, - more consistent vapor than with the KR or with a 510 mega with adapter - even though I don't get as much vapor from them as a regular cart on the Bart.

And there you go, or you can build your own for just a couple of bucks. Just be sure to use protected batteries.

I would agree. I started the 6 volt experience by building my own devices. They constantly broke down, parts needed to be replaced and they required too much maintenance. That is why I threw up my hands and bought a commercially manufactured power source by folks much better at building a consistantly reliable device. That is why my primary vaping devices at a Super-T and AdapteveR.

Hoog recommends the 2 or 3 AAA to start with I forget which one. I did the tougher 1AAA but did it.

I LOVE MY Mod 3.7 Volt 900 Mah last me a day and half before having to charge. The Hits and vapor is much better too! After this one I am incline to make another 5 Volt cost less then 20. They might not be sleek but I have a feeling after finishing these you could definitely make your own sleek one. Least I am gaining confidence. I do not much care what it looks like -since I only smoke in one room at my home.I started that habit when trying to quit cigs.

I also picked up a couple disposables at the time for gifts. Next time I order from them-I will get some from me:D I read the reviews on them here and appears as a no brainer to have for backups.

BTW- (Radio Shack cute litttle soldering gun package for only 8 bucks)

I think it's time to quit calling any type of USB connection a passthrough. In this case it's not (the maker never refers to it as such or claims it to be), nor is the standard Joye 510 PT a passthrough. The USB cable is simply a power source for the internal charger, it is not doubling as a passthrough.

Last time he had them in stock he didn't change the price. No need for the attitude.

You're misreading the attitude. The 'I can get technical too' is a joke in reference to Willy's post - see the smiley? ... and the bold print is aimed at the vendor not you. I'm waiting for them to get some in too!
